The American network stated that it “learned that U.S. forces in Jordan launched more than 30 Patriot missiles to counter the Iranian strikes in Jordan.” The Jordanian army announced on Wednesday that the Kingdom was subjected to a “missile attack originating from Iranian territory.” The Jordanian army reported that “the Jordanian air defense’s engagement with 20 ballistic missiles launched towards Jordanian territory, successfully intercepting and destroying 18 of them…with two missiles landing in unpopulated areas.”
