The Jewish entity and Lebanon signed a framework agreement after four consecutive days of direct negotiations in Washington. The agreement stipulates that the Jewish entity and Lebanon declare their intention to end the conflict between them, address its underlying causes, and end any state of war.

On Sunday, 14 June 2026, the Jewish army carried out an airstrike targeting the southern suburbs of Beirut, only hours after warning residents of approximately 30 towns in southern Lebanon and ordering them to evacuate.
