The Arrest of Hundreds of Peaceful Pro-Palestine Protestors in Britain Illustrates the Farce of Democracy

On Saturday, 6th September, almost 900 people were arrested in a pro-Palestine demonstration in London. They were protesting against the continuing mass slaughter and starvation of innocent civilians in Gaza, as well as the ban on the group Palestine Action which the British government proscribed as a terrorist organization in July.

There is no Solution to the Sudanese Issue Except Ruling by Islam

Since its independence on 1/1/1956, Sudan has witnessed a series of military coups. The first was the failed attempt led by Ismail Kabida, who attempted to overthrow the first national government headed by Ismail al-Azhari. This was followed by the first successful coup led by Lieutenant General Ibrahim Abboud in November 1958 against al-Azhari's elected government.
