Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) is Harmful Like Capitalist Loans Based on Interest

Prothom Alo reported on 14 October 2025 that, after a meeting with officials of the US Treasury, the Finance Minister of Bangladesh declared, “We want to move away from loans and focus more on direct investment and joint investment.”

It seems that the Finance Minister is too enthusiastic to implement the orders of the US Treasury, as his statement lacks accuracy, consistency and insight.

Moving away from capitalist loans that are based on interest (ربا riba) is not possible for any state that implements disbelief (kufr). Debt and interest payments continually increase, whether in Bangladesh or the US itself. The only way to move away from the harm of riba is to abolish riba, and seize the misappropriated wealth from the corrupt officials to pay any outstanding principal.

Moreover, whilst riba undermines financial independence, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) undermines economic independence by granting a way of dominance for American factories and companies.

No state that claims independence, or genuinely seeks it, can accept such foreign dominance. Foreign Direct Investment surrenders the Shariah rights of the community over the utilities that fall under public property, such as energy and minerals. It weakens the role of the state in strategic industries, and forces the closure of local private companies. Most critically, it prevents Muslims from acquiring a substantial machine industry, so that they are dependent on foreign machinery, vehicles and electronics.

Consequently, the Finance Minister is intending to add to the suffering of the Muslims by increasing the dominance of American companies, alongside the crushing interest payments.

O Muslims of Bangladesh! Although your brave young men and women compelled the army to arrange for the departure of Sheikh Hasina, the system of colonialist dependence remains. Compel the army to ensure liberation from colonialism and to grant its nussrah (military support) for the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly-guided Caliphate).

Rulers of Pakistan Side with Russia in Its War on Islam

The Embassy of Russia in Pakistan announced on the platform X on 13 October that “Russian Minister of the Interior Vladimir Kolokoltsev held talks with Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Mohsin Naqvi... The talks focused on combating international organized crime, terrorism and extremism...”

The rulers of Pakistan spare no opportunity in allying with the disbelievers in their war against Islam. Under the banner of combating terrorism and extremism, the Russian state has waged a war against the Islam of the Muslims of the Central Asian Republics. The Russian ruling elite formed these republics after occupying the Muslim land of West Turkestan, including the historical Islamic cities of Samarkand and Bukhara. Putin’s regime has overseen the intense persecution, horrific torture, prolonged imprisonment and extrajudicial execution of Muslims whose only crime was to say that their Lord is Allah (swt).

By siding with Russia, the rulers of Pakistan have confirmed where they stand in the civilizational conflict between failed capitalism and resurgent Islam. By committing to the colonialist construct of countering terrorism and extremism, they have allied with the disbelievers (kuffar) in a campaign to eradicate Islam as a way of life, and system of ruling governance. Thus, their narrow vision for Central Asian Republics is limited to geoeconomics, which amounts to Muslims taking the scraps left over after Russia and America have had their fill of the wealth of the Ummah.

O Muslims of Pakistan and Central Asia!

The Deen made the Indian subcontinent and West Turkestan beacons of Islamic knowledge and centers of staggering scientific progress. Hold fast to the Rope of Allah (swt) despite all the efforts to distance you from your Deen. Remain steadfast in your Dawah to Islam and strive for the empowerment (تمكين tamkeen) of the Deen. Allah (swt) said,

[يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ]

“They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even though the disbelievers dislike it” [TMQ Surah As-Saff: 8].

Change is Through Abolition of Capitalism and Colonialism, and the Implementation of the Shariah of Allah (swt)

The Dawn Newspaper reported on 12 October that "Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said on Monday that the new setup in the province would “not compromise on police”, pledging enhanced support and a pay raise for its law enforcers."

Restlessness persists in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after the introduction of governor rule, whilst the solution is not the application of more force. Moreover, restlessness is not confined to one province in Pakistan. The Muslims are crushed by economic misery as a result of capitalism and economic colonialism. The Muslims are enraged at the neglect of Gaza, and dismayed at the prospect of Muslims fighting Muslims in Trump’s war on Iran and its proxies in Yemen.

Restlessness in Pakistan has a cause: the failure of the current system. The system failed because it implements capitalism, which concentrates most of the wealth in the country in the hands of a few. Capitalism does so wherever it is implemented. The system failed because of the strategic alliance with the U.S., which has surrendered the wealth, armed forces, and decision-making authority to American colonialism. The entire Muslim World is full of examples.

Force will only increase restlessness, as it does not change the system. The restlessness will persist until the Muslims of Pakistan move for the abolition of capitalism and colonialism, and the implementation of the Shariah Law of Allah (swt).  The laws of capitalism and colonialism are the output of the limited human intellect and steered by the whims and desires of people.

So, change in Pakistan cannot be cosmetic, with new faces and a new facade to the man-made system. Change in Pakistan must be radical, with the abolition of the laws of kufr and the implementation of Islam.  Allah (swt) created humankind and sent revelation to solve its problems in the best manner.  Allah (swt) said,

[أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ﴾

“Does He not know—He who created—while He is the Subtle, the Acquainted?” [TMQ Surah Al-Mulk: 14].

To Escape Its Quagmire with Iran, America Works to Burn the Strongest Muslim States in the Fires of Sectarianism and Nationalism

On 11 October 2026, the State Information Service (SIS) of Egypt declared, "The States of the R4 Group (the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the Republic of Türkiye) condemn in the strongest terms the ongoing hostile attacks perpetrated by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."

The United States is dragging Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Egypt into its confrontation with Iran and its Houthi proxies in Yemen. Washington wants to transform its quagmire in the conflict with Iran into a war of attrition between the strongest Muslim states.

The United States first pushed Saudi Arabia toward escalation against the Houthis on the basis of sectarianism and nationalism. When Saudi Arabia found itself exposed to painful Houthi strikes, the U.S. promptly abandoned it and made a deal in Oman with the Houthis to prevent any harm to American assets.

It is open betrayal of the Ummah and its armies to enter into a conflict between Muslims so that the U.S. reigns supreme over their corpses. Fighting between Muslims based on nationalism and sectarianism is forbidden by the Shariah of Allah.

The Shariah obligation is for the Muslim states to unify as one state under one Imam, ruling all Muslims according to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah. It is then that Türkiye can host the air force of Pakistan and launch a joint air assault to smash the Iron Dome of the Jews to pieces. It is then that the navies of Türkiye, Pakistan, Iran and Egypt can wrench control of the straits from Western control. It is then that Egypt can host the armed forces of Pakistan, Iran, Türkiye, and Saudi Arabia and launch a massive land assault on the Jewish entity through the Rafah Border Crossing (RBC). So which of the most powerful Muslim states abandon sectarianism and nationalism to earn the nasr (victory) of Allah in the Dunya, and huge reward in the Aakhirah?

The Economic Colonialism by China Is as Harmful as That by the United States

In an article for “China Daily” on 9 October 2026, the Federal Minister for Planning and Special Initiatives of Pakistan stated, “Pakistan and China share a relationship that rests on mutual trust, respect for each other’s core interests and a shared conviction that development and cooperation are foundations for peace and prosperity.”

Despite being led by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), China is firmly capitalist in its foreign affairs, including economic dealings with other states. So, like the U.S., China secures economic colonialism of the finance, energy, minerals, agriculture, industry, telecommunications and markets of the state that it targets, under the banner of infrastructure and development.

Financially, China extends loans with interest (riba), creating an endless debt trap with exorbitantly high interest rates, which exceed the payment capacity of the government.  As early as 2022, Pakistan accumulated $26.6 billion worth of Chinese debt, more than any other country in the world. So Chinese banks prosper, whilst the economy of Muslims rots in debt.

In terms of agriculture, industry, energy, minerals and telecommunications, there are dozens of Chinese companies embedded in the pillars of the economy of Pakistan, contributing to the collapse of local companies. They are even working in sensitive sectors within strategic industries, which compromises the security of the state.

In terms of markets, China adopts the policy of the transnational economy, where it retains dominance in the machine industry, so the markets of the colonized state become dependent on high-value products from Chinese factories, like laptops and vehicles.

O Muslims of Pakistan! The rulers of Pakistan are deepening your economic hardship by erecting Chinese economic colonialism besides American economic colonialism. Depose them and implement the Shariah Law of Allah (swt). The Khilafah (Caliphate) will abolish riba (interest), seize the assets of corrupt rulers to pay off any outstanding principal in debt and establish a machine industry to rapidly compete with the industrialized colonialist states and end their hegemony.

All the Armies of Muslims Must Be Mobilized Immediately Against the Jewish Entity, Not Against Other Muslims

In a post on X, on 9 October 2026, the Prime Minister of Pakistan stated, “The Houthi militia must immediately cease these attacks. We will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with Saudi Arabia in the face of these threats.”

The rulers of Pakistan, Hijaz and Yemen, as well as the leadership of the Houthi militias, do not rule by the Shariah Law of Allah (swt), whilst submitting to the taghut (طاغوت transgressing authority) of man-made laws. Had they held firmly to the rope of Allah (swt), they would have initiated fighting against the Jewish entity the moment it began its genocide against the Muslims of Gaza in October 2023.

Instead, for three long years, they all continuously shed Muslim blood for worldly gains, even though the Prophet (saw), said, «قِتَالُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كُفْرٌ وَسِبَابُهُ فُسُوقٌ» “Fighting a believer is disbelief (كفر kufr) and defaming him is evildoing.” 

Even now, if any one of these ruling factions returned to their territories, to abstain from the major sin of killing Muslims, and to prepare for the Shariah obligation of Jihad against the Jewish entity, the entire scene would change within hours. The scene would change from one of fitnah (فتنة sedition) and confusion to one of clarity, Iman, Jihad and martyrdom.

Such an honorable step would inevitably lead to the appointment of a single Khaleefah (Caliph), leading the armies of the Ummah in a decisive battle against the American military infrastructure on Muslim land, including its forward military base, the Jewish entity.

Thus, the armies of Muslims must depose these ruling factions, who turn their backs on the Shariah Law of Allah (swt), order our fighting men to shed Muslim blood day and night, and restrain our armies from fighting the disbelievers who imprison, rape, starve and slaughter Muslims. And they must give their nussrah (نصرة military support) to Hizb ut Tahrir for the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly-guided Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood so that Jihad against tyrants resume.
