News Right Now: In the Wrong Hands

Muhammad Bin Salman (MBS) of Saudi Arabia seeks to develop a comprehensive nuclear energy program in collaboration with the United States. While for MBS these goals reflect Saudi Arabia’s broader ambitions to modernize its energy infrastructure and ultimately strengthen its geopolitical standing, for the Biden administration, it has made no secret, it is the hope to broker an arrangement leading Saudi Arabia and “Israel” to normalize relations. The U.S. understands that Saudi’s support for normalization with the Zionist entity depends pretty heavily on striking a civil nuclear deal with them therefore it’s willing to give them what they want in exchange for it.

However, we find that discussions and debates are emerging about how such an agreement could potentially harm the U.S. in the long-run giving Saudi the opening to acquire nuclear arms, causing damage to U.S. non-proliferation interests. And of course, this is something the U.S. would most definitely not take a risk in, so a major section of the partnership could potentially be the amount of U.S. support and involvement in the program including a black box component in the agreement. This is where Saudi Arabia would receive nuclear technology from the U.S. but without the underlying technical know-how. This means that while Saudi Arabia would have the capability to use the nuclear technology, it would not possess the detailed knowledge to produce or modify it independently. This setup aims to ensure that Saudi Arabia always remains dependent on the U.S. for operational and maintenance support. This way proliferation concerns are addressed, while at the same time, Saudi has got what they wanted of obtaining the desired technology.

MBS has always been loud about obtaining a nuclear weapon especially if Iran does. With this new U.S. deal, it further plays on the so called sectarian tensions between the Sunni Saudi and Shia Iran with both trying to compete with each other to expand their influence and counter each other’s power. This is the ideal scenario for the U.S. because for her it ensures she is always the key player who is always needed and depended upon, not allowing either Saudi or Iran to dominate in the region.

Once again, we find the Muslim leaders, as always succumb to their true masters -the West, The U.S. To acquire nuclear weapons is a matter of might and strength, which for any nation is crucial and progressive. For Muslims this would mean having the power to defend the honor of the Muslims and showing excessive might warning the enemies to have fear in committing any form of injustice. Yet, when that’s done at the service of our open enemies, who don’t even hide their hate for Islam and the Muslims, then it’s not something to be celebrated or have pride in. In fact, it proves that everything Saudi wishes to acquire from this nuclear deal is not for the benefit of her Ummah or for the defending of her deen, it is purely for her own royal benefit and profit!! Gaza is bleeding, our Ummah has been massacred and butchered and here we see normalization transactions taking place with the culprits themselves! Astagfirullah!

It is an obligation for the believers, the Ummah of Muhammad (saw), to rid ourselves of the corrupt Saudi regime once and for all and work earnestly to prepare for strength in the manner obliged by Islam. It is the time to bring back the just laws and systems of Islam – The Islamic Khilafah – which would not just ensure harmony and liberation but would cut off the roots of any hope or ambitions the Kafir colonists have with their twisted, inhumane and appalling world order.

Allah (swt) says in Surah An-Nur verse 55:

[وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَىٰ لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا ۚ يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا ۚ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ]

"Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that - then those are the defiantly disobedient."
