Press Release
Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan Revives the Ritual of Takbeer in the Month of Dhul-Hijjah
With a Roaring March in the Main Port Sudan Market
(Translated)

After Asr prayer on Monday, the 6th of Dhul-Hijjah 1446 AH, corresponding to 2 June 2025 CE, the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan revived the ritual of takbeer in the month of Dhul-Hijjah. Ustadh Muhammad Jami’ (Abu Ayman), Assistant Spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan, addressed the worshippers at Ibn Mas’ud Mosque in the main Port Sudan market after Asr prayer, reminding them of the virtue of these blessed days of Dhul-Hijjah, and how the Sahabah (Companions) — may Allah be pleased with them — used to glorify these days with takbeer and tahleel. He then began to call the takbeer, followed by the prayers. Afterwards they all went out in a roaring march carrying the Rayah (banner) of the Messenger of Allah (saw), and a large sign that read: "Reviving the Ritual of Takbeer in the Month of Dhul-Hijjah."

The march moved through parts of the market while voices rang out with takbeer and tahleel. They then returned to the area next to the mosque, where Ustadh Abu Ayman made du'a for those present and for all Muslims — that their needs be fulfilled, that Allah lift from us the apparent and hidden tribulations, and that He grant victory to this Deen through the implementation of His Shariah on earth under the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood, while those present responded with Ameen.
