Press Release
Pakistan’s Airstrikes on Muslims in Ramadan—And Servitude to the United States: The Pakistani Government’s True Face Is Being Exposed More and More Each Day
(Translated)

On Saturday night, 21 Feb. 2026, Pakistan’s army carried out airstrikes on seven areas in the provinces of Nangarhar and Paktika. Dozens of civilians, including women and children, were killed and wounded as a result. Local sources and field reports said the bombs hit residential homes and a madrasa. While Pakistan claims it targeted positions of “TTP and ISIS,” the evidence published indicates extensive civilian casualties.

We condemn the Pakistani forces’ airstrikes in the strongest possible terms and regard them as a terrorist act and organized terror, carried out by a specific circle of Pakistani military officials—against the Muslims of Afghanistan—in order to please their American patrons.

It is profoundly regrettable and shameful that the strongest army in the Muslim world, and one that possesses nuclear weapons, would target civilians, children, and women in Afghanistan during the blessed month of Ramadan. Islam considers the blood of a Muslim sacred and openly declares any assault on the life and property of Muslims to be unlawful (haram). This crime, committed in the blessed month of Ramadan—the month of mercy and sanctity—not only wounded the feelings of Muslims around the world, but also exposed the true face of Pakistan’s puppet rulers, who act against Islam and Muslims.

The policies of Shehbaz Sharif and Asim Munir are not limited to this crime. In serving the US, this government has effectively handed the Islamic land of Kashmir over to India, and Modi’s Hindu-nationalist government is able—without any hindrance—to harass and persecute Muslims in occupied Kashmir and across Indian Territory. At the same time, instead of moving to liberate Al-Aqsa Mosque, Pakistan’s army—on Trump’s orders—sends troops to Gaza, to operate under the command of an American general in disarming the mujahideen and ensuring the security of the Jewish state, thereby playing its treacherous role. The Pakistani government has also put pressure on Afghan refugees, and—through the seizure of their property—deports thousands of Afghans on a daily basis in an atmosphere of fear and humiliation; a process that, recently, has intensified to an unprecedented level.

Pakistan’s political and military leadership hopes that through service and flattery toward Trump it will obtain political and economic privileges, even though Pakistan has each time been abused as a tool in major colonial games. At present, Pakistan’s foreign policy, through overt service to the US, has chosen the path of servitude and humiliation; but at home it faces economic, security, and social crises. Today, widespread dissatisfaction, public distrust, and political illegitimacy are sweeping Pakistan, showing that a government that seeks the approval of great powers abroad has, at home, lost its popular support and—rather than offering honest accountability—has left the people alone amid crisis after crisis. Yet to divert public attention, it places the burden of its failures on Afghanistan.

In closing, our message to Afghanistan’s current rulers and to those sincere officers who are present within Pakistan’s army is this: instead of becoming entangled in nationalist sentiments and false patriotism, and in enmity toward one another, they should aim the muzzle of their rifles in the right direction. Muslims are not the enemy; the real enemy is the global order, colonial powers such as the US, the Jewish regime, and India and China in the region. Therefore, it is obligatory, for this great mission, to eliminate the “cancerous” Durand Line and—through the establishment of the Second Rightly Guided Caliphate—unite their energy and strength toward the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Muslims of Palestine, Kashmir, and East Turkestan. Minor issues must not divide Muslims, nor should the current fitnah end up benefiting the US and India.

“And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not dispute and [thus] lose courage and [then] your strength would depart; and be patient. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.” [Al-Anfal:46]
