The Events in Gaza and Syria Exposed the Illusion, and Established the Facts

Since October 7, 2023, Gaza has set out to write, with its blood and the remains of its children, one of the greatest epics of steadfastness in the face of tyranny, confronting a Jewish entity, armed to the teeth with Western support, led by the brazen and direct American support. The confrontation was not equal in weaponry, but it was superior in Aqeedah (creed). Gaza destroyed the myth of an invincible army, and exposed the falsehood of strength that the hostile Western media and the subservient and humiliating official media in our land have long promoted. It revealed that invincibility is not a true characteristic of a cowardly enemy. Instead, it is an illusion planted in the minds of the Ummah by defeated regimes through corrupt ulema, who have made a profession of justifying the subservience and betrayal of their rulers, the agents of Western regimes.

Gaza has exposed the falsity of the slogans and, with it, the masks of the existing regimes in the Muslim countries, which have long exploited the Palestinian cause while, in reality, being guardians of the borders of the Jewish entity, preventing support for the Ummah, conspiring against the people of Gaza through silence and complicity, and even participating in the siege and oppression, to the point that the blood of children is being shed in full view of rulers, who have nothing but statements of condemnation or calls for calm. In Syria, which is an integral part of the conflict front, the defunct Assad regime was a partner in this betrayal. As for the new regime, which is intended to be an extension of the previous regime in protecting the Jewish entity, and an extension of international dependency aimed at keeping ash-Sham subjugated, divided, and far from supporting the greater causes of the Ummah, it has taken on the role of a bystander, oblivious to the fact that the victory (nasr) it possesses is a blessing from Allah (swt), not support from the countries that have hijacked this phase, and are still working cunningly and hastily to formulate the new regime to be part of the family of agent regimes that America is crafting in the Middle East.

As for America, the root of the problem, it has confirmed once again that it is the primary enemy of the Islamic Ummah, and that it only looks after its own interests and the interests of its pampered protégé, the Jewish entity, even if it comes at the cost of innocent lives. Its aircraft, weapons, and political statements have all been in the service of the Jewish occupation, while it has been talking about a two-state solution and appeasement, as diplomatic cover, to allow crimes to be committed and to consolidate the occupation of land.

America rushed to secure airlifts to fund its Jewish entity, and it used its veto power in the UN Security Council dozens of times, not to protect an ally, but instead to protect its political and ideological project aimed at eradicating any powerful Islamic force.

America’s hostility to Islam is existentially fundamental. Its goal is not to fight a faction here or an organization there, but instead to fight the return of Islam as a system and a state. Therefore, the Ummah must fully understand that eradicating the Jewish entity inevitably requires uprooting the American influence from our land.

In light of this collusion, Gaza emerged with its firm belief and confidence in its energies based on this belief, taking on the role of the Ummah’s vanguard in this round of the inevitable fateful battle with the West and its forward military base, the Jewish entity. This was to undermine the Oslo Accords, Camp David, Wadi Araba, and the Abraham Accords, which Trump promoted and which the harmful agent turned a blind eye to. This all confirms to the Ummah that the enemy cannot be appeased, and that not even an inch of territory can be surrendered to it, and that the liberation (tahrir) of Palestine can only be achieved through Jihad, not negotiations.

Gaza has confirmed that the equation in the Ummah’s battle with its enemy is not a mathematical equation, because Allah (swt) supports one side of this equation.

Gaza has confirmed that strength does not lie in the number of aircraft, or the accuracy of missiles, but instead in the Iman that motivates men and the aqeedah that unleashes energies. Its young men, under siege for more than a decade and a half, confronted the most powerful military machine in the region, shaking its security, confusing its calculations, and confirming that when the Ummah acts on the basis of Islam, it is capable of tipping the scales. At a time when Muslim armies should have mobilized immediately to support Gaza, not to be restricted by the orders of their agent rulers, the nationalistic borders should have been opened not only to allow the entry of aid, but also to allow the entry of armies and weaponry to liberate all of Palestine. This was the Muslims’ practice when the Amorium (Ammuriye) sought help from al-Mu’tasim and the Andalusia sought help from Sultan Ibn Amir, when Muslim leaders were men of resolve, honor, and dignity.

The Al-Aqsa Flood operation has restored the true essence of the conflict with the Jews. This conflict is an existential one. Palestine is not a nationalistic issue, but an Islamic one. Its liberation (tahrir) is a Shariah obligation upon every Muslim, and cannot be nullified by the inaction of rulers, the betrayal of regimes, or the lethargic paralysis of armies. The Islamic Ummah possesses the potential to terrify its enemies. Its population is nearly two billion, it has massive armies, vast wealth, and a unique strategic location. However, it is shackled by agent regimes that guard the Sykes-Picot Agreement and prevent its unification. What could the Ummah be if it were given free rein behind a sincere, aware, bold, and independent leadership that would lead it toward its civilizational project, the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood?

The innocent blood of the people of Gaza, shed in the recent war of genocide, was not merely a loss of life. It was a decisive cry of truth, and an irrefutable evidence, that revealed three central truths that the Ummah must fully understand: the truth about the kafir enemy, the truth about the betrayal and humiliation of its agent rulers, and the truth about the only cure, which is the establishment of the Khilafah.

Gaza has done what it was supposed to do, exposed the disgraceful, removed the masks, and demonstrated that victory (nasr) does not come from America or the United Nations, but rather from Allah (swt), with which He honors an Ummah that moves on the basis of Islam, establishes the Khilafah, liberates Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, and restores its glory. Allah (swt) said,

[وَلَيَنصُرَنَّ اللَّهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَقَوِىٌّ عَزِيزٌ] “And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.” [TMQ Surah Hajj: 40].
