According to Humanitarian Relief Foundation and various Turkish media, more than 450 persons, including whole families, from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkestan and the Caucasus, with the majority from Uzbekistan, have been detained and put in repatriation centres during operations in Istanbul, since 29th of July.

On Sunday 14/08/2016, the Doctors Without Borders organisation reported that 10 children had been killed in Yemen and 28 others had been wounded, all of whom were under the age of 15, in an attack undertaken by the Saudi-led Arab coalition upon a school for Quran memorisation in the Haidan region of North Yemen.

Since the last few weeks, the Muslims of eastern Aleppo have been subjected to the most brutal siege by the murderous Assad and Russian forces. Over 300,000 civilians, 60% of whom are women and children are trapped in the city, with food, water and medical supplies fast running out.
