Nafsiya Reflections: The Betrayal of Fitrah: A Call Back to Divine Guidance

The entire world has been shaken by the revelations surrounding the Epstein scandal and its hidden files. A wave of revulsion has swept across humanity, among Muslims and non-Muslims alike. This scandal reflects a descent into something devoid of mercy, stripped of conscience, and closer to brute instinct than humanity. How is one able to live with him/herself knowing the devilish heinous acts they have committed or allowing these heinous people to walk away freely?

The countless painful testimonies are so disturbing that seem unreal, as though they were born of dark imagination. It exposes what happens when hearts are emptied of faith, when power is sought without accountability, and when the fear of the All-Mighty is lost. Humanity has fallen into darkness and no one to account these perpetrators, devil worshippers, murderers, in which words can not describe these culprits.

Our revulsion toward Epstein is utterly meaningless if it does not extend to confronting the remnants of Epsteinism and the system that stands behind it. The same system that has turned a blind eye to these culprits. A system which allowed for the elites to get away with these crimes. A system that glorifies false notions of women’s “freedom”.

This same Epsteinism ideology reduced women to cheap commodities, stripped of dignity and sanity. It opened doors wide open under the guise of progress, pushing women into every field without moral boundaries, promoting unchecked mixing between genders, feminizing men, and deliberately inflaming desires between sexes. This was not accidental. It is the architecture of moral decay, designed to dismantle the family, weaken faith, and sever humanity from divine order upon which balance and purity were meant to stand.

It also encourages absolute freedom, freedom that serves neither their well-being nor their dignity, but rather aims to normalize rebellion and turn sons and daughters into commodities. It is not liberation, it is exploitation disguised as choice. Western societies have already completed this painful and disastrous journey, witnessing its consequences firsthand.

This anger must be transformed into conscious awakening, a rejection of the ideologies and structures that have poisoned Muslim intellect and distanced hearts from truth. It is a call to return to the law of Allah (swt) and to HIS book as the ultimate source of guidance, balance, and salvation. Allah Almighty said:

[يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَكُمۡ وَيَهۡدِيَكُمۡ سُنَنَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ وَيَتُوبَ عَلَيۡكُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٞ. وَٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ
أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَيُرِيدُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ أَن تَمِيلُواْ مَيۡلًا عَظِيمٗا* يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُخَفِّفَ عَنكُمۡۚ
وَخُلِقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ ضَعِيفٗا]

Allah wants to make clear to you [the lawful from the unlawful] and guide you to the [good] practices of those before you and to accept your repentance. And Allah is Knowing and Wise. Allah wants to accept your repentance, but those who follow [their] passions want you to digress [into] a great deviation. And Allah wants to lighten for you [your difficulties]; and mankind was created weak. [Al-Nisa 26- 28]

Turn your anger at Epstenisim into motivation towards humanity that is suffering far more than what has merely been exposed. What has been revealed is only a fragment of much darker reality. We must recognize the weight of our responsibility. We need a system that is a saviour to mankind. Allah (swt) said:

[ كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ]

"You are the best nation (ever) brought up for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah" [Surah Āl-‘Imrān: Aya 110]

We must strive to carry the message of Islam to the world which is a necessity to save humanity from this disguised decadence. The Khilafah which will rid us of this rotten system, which has caused nothing but harm in every way shape and form?
