News Right Now: Abominable Cruelty

The ongoing assault by the Palestinian Authority (PA) on the city of Jenin has strongly proven the oppressive role it plays in the lives of Palestinians! Under the pretense of maintaining order, the PA has unleashed a campaign of brutality that mirrors the actions of the Zionist occupiers! Jenin, already suffering from decades of “Israeli” aggression, has become grounds for the PA’s enforcement of its authority through violence and repression. These are the very people who claim and are supposedly meant to be representing the Palestinian people, yet they have betrayed and backstabbed our brothers and sisters and revealed how far they’ve strayed from their “aspirations” of the Palestinian struggle for liberation.

The inhumane treatment and humiliation inflicted upon the people of Jenin by the PA cannot be overstated. Homes have been raided, families terrorized, and the dignity of an oppressed people further eroded. Most tragically, the recent killing of journalist Shaza al-Sabbagh exemplifies the disregard for human life and truth. Shaza, who was shot point blank whilst returning from grocery shopping, sought to shed light on the plight of Palestinians yet became a victim of the PA’s efforts to silence dissent and obscure its complicity.

The actions of the PA make it blatantly clear that it has become an additional enemy of the Palestinian people—an extended hand of the occupiers. Far from being the voice of the Palestinian Ummah, the PA serves as an instrument of suppression, collaborating with “Israel” to stifle resistance and maintain control over the population. The PA’s priorities align disturbingly with those of the occupiers, as they focus on crushing the will of their own people rather than standing against the forces of occupation. This betrayal underscores the reality that the PA is not a representative of the Palestinian struggle but a barrier to its fulfilment!

The PA must heed the lessons of history, for the fate of despots and betrayers is inevitable. Their hypocrisy and treachery will not go unanswered. As the oppressed rise and the call for true justice grows louder, the PA will face the reckoning of both the people and their Creator. The soon-to-emerge Khilafah biitnillah taalah will hold them accountable for their betrayal of Palestine and their complicity in the suffering of their own people. Never should they forget they will stand before Allah, who is ever-watchful and just, to answer for their hypocrisy and oppression. Let this be a warning to those who believe their power is unassailable: justice, whether in this world or the next, will prevail!

Allah (swt) says:

( وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ غَافِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الْأَبْصَارُ )

“Do not think ˹O Prophet˺ that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them until a Day when ˹their˺ eyes will stare in horror” [Surah Ibrahim verse 42]
