News Right Now: Barefaced Betrayal

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mumtaz Zahrah Baloch has confirmed that Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, will visit Goa, India, to attend the meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization of 4 and 5 May 2023. She said Zardari was invited by India’s external affairs minister, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, in his capacity as the current chair of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers. “Our participation in the meeting reflects Pakistan’s commitment to the SCO charter and processes and the importance that Pakistan accords to the region in its foreign policy priorities,” Baloch said.

This is the first visit by a Pakistani foreign minister to India, in twelve years. The visit comes at a time when it has only been three-and-a-half years, since the Hindu State forcibly annexed Kashmir. Islamabad has its own reasons to talk down any possibility of bilateral engagement. Other than the uncertainty over the government’s continuance, the pressure on it to not engage with India is massive. Imran Khan, whose popularity the government seems to fear, recently said that as Prime Minister, he was pressured by the former chief (2016-22) of the Pakistan Army, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, to restore ties with India. The General Bajwa approach continued to exercise restraint, and advocated an ‘optimized army,’ that does not seek an arms race with India. Pakistan has reduced its spending on defense in recent years whilst India’s spending has increased.

This visit makes it clear that Modi had the courage to do all this because of the cowardice of our military and political leadership. Indeed, the rulers of Pakistan and Bangladesh are supporters of the Hindu State, whilst Bilawal Bhutto’s anti-India statements are only to deceive Muslims. At a time when the anti-Muslim radical Hindutva party BJP regained power in India, with Narendra Modi as Prime Minister. The BJP government in India adopted a proactive and aggressive approach towards Pakistan, with backing of successive American administrations. Apart from being aggressive at the diplomatic front, the Modi government escalated militarily against Pakistan. In India itself the anti Islamic rhetoric has emboldened Hindu mobs who are demolishing the houses of Muslims, hanging young boys in public, banning the hijab of Muslim sisters and openly violating the sanctities.

The visit by Pakistan’s foreign minister comes after revelations in which the former governor of Occupied Kashmir, Satya Pal, exposed the Modi government’s complicity in the Pulwama attack. Modi launched a retaliatory aerial bombardment in Balakot, enabling him to win the elections. Is the meeting of the SCO organization, which is under the influence of colonialism China, more important than the sanctity of Kashmir and the blood of Muslims? So, why must the foreign minister of Pakistan visit the Hindu State, surrendering before its anti-Pakistan and anti-Muslim policies?

The Hindu State is surrounded on two sides by more than a million Muslim military troops, from Pakistan and Bangladesh, whilst the over 300,000 Mujahideen of the Taliban have proved their mettle against a 42-nation crusader alliance. The Hindu State became bold because of the inaction of the rulers of Pakistan, Bangladesh and the Arabs. Instead, they fall over each other to befriend these butchers. These rulers do not mobilize the Muslim armies to protect the blood of the Muslims, their sanctities and honor. Instead, they run to the colonialist enemies, be it America or China, to please them and leave no stone unturned to fulfill their agendas. Our rulers' treachery is no longer concealed. Our obligation is to rid the Ummah of them and establish our Deen.

O Pakistan’s Armed Forces! The blood of every Muslim, who was wounded or martyred in Occupied Kashmir and India, is on your necks. It is incumbent upon you to overthrow these treacherous regimes and provide Nussrah Hizb ut Tahrir for the establishment of the Khilafah. It is then that your Khaleefah will appoint and send a Muhammad bin Qasim, from amongst you, to lead the attack on today’s Raja Dahir. It is then that the Khilafah will liberate Kashmir, forcing the head of the arrogant Hindu king to bow before Islam and levy Jizya upon the Hindus. Thus, it will be the Khilafah that will once again bring the entire region, including Myanmar (Burma), back under the ruling and justice of Islam.

O Armed Forces of Pakistan! Come forth to provide Nussrah to Hizb ut Tahrir for the establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood. InshaaAllah your Lord will grant you victory over your enemies. Allah (swt) said,

[إِنْ يَنْصُرْكُمُ اللَّهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمْ وَإِنْ يَخْذُلْكُمْ فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَنْصُرُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ]

“If Allah helps you, then who is the one who can overcome you? And if He leaves forsake you, then who is there that can support you afterwards? So let the believers put their trust in Allah alone.” [TMQ Surah Aali-Imran 3:160]
