News Right Now: The Obstacle

We are only three months along 2023 and tensions have escalated with more than 60 martyrs so far. In hopes to “de-escalate the violence” that is taking place in Palestine, Jordan has hosted the Aqabah (originating from the word ‘obstacle’) talks in late February. The Palestinian and Jewish entity’s senior officials attended, alongside US and Egypt who participated, with the aim to “affirm their commitment to all previous agreements”, and to work for “a just and lasting peace”.

A joint communiqué was issued citing agreement on a number of issues at the end of the meeting. In addition to ending, “unilateral measures for a period of three to six months. This includes a commitment on the part of the occupiers to stop discussion of any new settlement units for four months and to stop authorization of any outposts for six months.” Also, two committees are to be formed, one civilian and one security-related, which results in the much-criticized security coordination between the Palestinian Authority and the Jewish entity is ongoing. “The participants also agreed to pursue confidence-building measures and strengthen mutual trust in order to address outstanding issues through direct dialogue.”

As the Arab regimes try to make us believe that they have the best intentions for the people of Palestine, history has shown time and time again that this is clearly not the case. For it is clear as day that the intention is to protect and strengthen the Jewish entity’s grip on our blessed land Palestine. You can see that there are loopholes that the Jewish entity takes advantage of in the agreements or even that the agreements are not even taken seriously.

Netanyahu, famous for using loopholes to further carry on with the Jewish entity’s agenda, stated that there would not be a construction freeze over the Green Line. He said: “The building and authorization in (the West Bank) will continue according to the original planning and building schedule, with no change. There is not and will not be any freeze.” And even before that statement, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir tweeted, “what was in Jordan (if it was), will stay in Jordan.” While they keep things vague, we know that the Jewish entity will continue to build the 9,000 new units in illegal settlements in the West Bank, while “authorizing” nine new settlements. Besides, this plan wasn’t even mentioned in the Aqaba agreement and “Israeli” officials stated that the committee responsible for authorizing new settlement expansion would not meet for at least three months.

On top of all that, on the day of the agreement, a Palestinian gunman shot two “Israeli” brothers. This sent Jewish settlers into a rampage in the Palestinian village of Huwara, torching houses, shops, cars, trees and everything they could possibly destroy. For hours, Palestinian medics and civil defense teams were prohibited from entering the town by Israeli soldiers. This resulted in the killing of one Palestinian and the injury of more than 100. Obviously, this bloody turn of events showed that the agreements and talks about furthering peace is nothing but a façade and it will never happen. The violence that is taking place is a fire that will keep burning as long as the true obstacle is present.

So, what was this the real objective of this meeting if the Jewish entity still continues to go on with their agenda? Well, one of the primary objectives is to save the now-shaky PA and its aging leader Abbas. For he has struggled to stem rising anger in the West Bank as more Palestinians see armed resistance as the main way of countering the Jewish entity’s insistence on building more settlements.

The actions of the agent rulers along with the Jewish entity shows that neither the UN or any peace agreement can bring a solution for the Palestinian conflict. For the solution is never to put our hands out to the US nor to shake hands with the enemies of Allah! Instead, the solution and the obligation upon us Muslims, as one Ummah, is to remove all the obstacles in the way of liberating the blessed land, Palestine. To uproot the Jewish entity and the agent rulers by calling the Armies to give us Nussrah. To put our hands together, as Muhammad (saw)’s nation and call for the radical change of the Khilafah (Caliphate) state, upon the method of prophethood.

O Strong Muslim Armies! Your brothers and sisters in the blessed land of Palestine are calling for you! They are waiting for you to be like those of Salahudin! They are waiting for you to do what you have always wanted to do and fight the fight for the sake of Allah (swt). To bring victory and honor back to Islam and to make the ultimate change! YOU are the one who can change the circumstances! YOU are the one that can bring this Ummah out of the darkness it is in and bring the Nour back to it! You can uproot the Jewish entity from our best land, the land of the Isra wal Miraj! The land which holds our blessed Aqsa Mosque, our first Qibla! It is in your hands to grant the Nussrah to Hizb ut Tahrir to bring the change the Ummah is waiting for! Turn your hearts to Allah and take the step to bring the change, InshAllah, ALLAH (swt) will bring you success!!!!

(وَإِنِ اسْتَنصَرُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ فَعَلَيْكُمُ النَّصْرُ)

“But if they seek your help ˹against persecution˺ in faith, it is your obligation to help them,” [TMQ Al-Anfal:72].
