News Right Now: The Exploited

Philippines has had a pandemic boom in child sex abuse with 1 in 5 children involved in some form of exploitation. The saddest thing has to be with the perpetrators commonly known to be the parents or close relatives. Case after case has exposed parents abusing their very own flesh and blood in the most disturbing ways as a means to make money. The paying customers sit on the other side of their screens across the world in Europe, the USA, and the UK watching as this appalling and heart-breaking abuse takes place.

This sick and debauched mind-set to hurt and humiliate young innocent children, that too your own, and then also for others to have pleasure in watching and being entertained from such disgust and immorality could only be from the western liberal way, where animalistic desires know no limits. This bitter reality of capitalist ‘individual freedom’ notion that encourages to satisfy sexual appetite by any means while disregarding its impacts to others has created a multi-billion dollar global paedophilia business. Children across the world are victimized and fallen prey to the sexually perverted audience at just a click of a mouse.

Capitalism, which unashamedly, places benefit above and beyond anything, is such a flawed and corrupt system. It has created monsters out of people. It has created a world where the most innocent and vulnerable, who deserve utmost love and care, the children, are so unsafe. Let alone trying to solve the pandemic their way of life has created, it further goes on to legitimize such behaviors where in many western states, parliamentarian discussions exist to make paedophilia legal.

The Islamic social system under the Khilafah (Caliphate) State would absolutely ensure that children are protected and nurtured in a happy and healthy environment. Islam seeks to create love and obedience between parents, society and children through its teachings which have always connected between actions of human being with the life of the Hereafter. The whole idea of viewing children in such a despicable manner would be eliminated, never allowing pornographic materials, nudity billboards, partially-nude children to be paraded on the stages of events, etc.  Islamic society, children will be viewed as those to be respected, honoured, protected as a life and death issue. Islam, the guide for humankind, presents the perfect laws and systems that would create a healthy environment, rid of all temptations. It protects mankind from any form of agitation in fulfilling human instincts needs.

In conclusion, a part of being our duty to protect children from all kinds of abuses, of course we have our roles in teaching them how to protect themselves and report the abusing actions or attempts, however, it is also high time now to work hard for a permanent solution by removing satanic, evil, failed capitalist ideology and replace it with the Islamic Khilafah Rashidah State upon the method of the Prophethood. Only this will save humanity from all catastrophes and miseries that we see ourselves and our Ummah drowned in. May Allah hasten the return of the Khilafah which will truly protect our youth and allow them to be the brave and firm leaders of the future. Ameen!
