This week, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu overturned over twenty years of relative political distance from the Zioniist entity by becoming the first minister to visit the usurped land since 2018. He met his contemporary Yair Lapid in Tel Aviv for talks, and visited Jerusalem and the occupied territories in the latest efforts to rebuild full diplomatic relations between the two nation states. Lapis said,"The goal is to form and expand economic and civil cooperation between our countries," and added that officials would begin working on a new civil aviation agreement.

The economic gains expected from this partnership between the Zionist entity and Turkey are many, and in the short term the collaboration will launch a project that will carry natural gas from Palestinian waters, to Turkey, and then potentially on to Europe. However most disturbing perhaps is the intention to re-establish full diplomatic ties at the ambassador level - denoting Turkey’s full acceptance and recognition of the Zionist state, and by default, its insidious role in the region and its affects upon the people of Palestine.

For anyone that still needed proof of Turkeys open betrayal of Palestine, this visit is evidence enough, that like all Capitalists, securing economic gain is a far higher value to Erdogan and his government, than the sacredness of Muslim land, the principle of re-taking stolen land, the dishonesty of partnering with the Zionist criminals, and any concern for the lives of the people of Palestine. This visit follows the Zionist’s President Issac Herzog’s visit in March of this year, when met with President Erdogan in Ankara, and expressed their intentions to normalise all relations and even return to military cooperation, including in counter-terrorism and intelligence sharing, as well as strong economic and tourism ties that they two players had pre 1990’s.

Turkey’s open calls for a peaceful resolution to the issue of the Zionist occupation of Palestine are completely unacceptable from an Islamic perspective. Allah (swt) has prescribed jihad in His way for any such situation where Muslim land is not only stolen but occupied, and where Muslims are oppressed and killed.
He (swt) explains this in the Quran in Surah al Baqarah v 216...

(كُتِبَ عَلَيۡکُمُ الۡقِتَالُ وَهُوَ كُرۡهٌ لَّـكُمۡ​ۚ وَعَسٰۤى اَنۡ تَكۡرَهُوۡا شَيۡـئًا وَّهُوَ خَيۡرٌ لَّـکُمۡ​ۚ وَعَسٰۤى اَنۡ تُحِبُّوۡا شَيۡـئًا وَّهُوَ شَرٌّ لَّـكُمۡؕ وَاللّٰهُ يَعۡلَمُ وَاَنۡـتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ)

“Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not”.

It is Allah (swt’s) command that once a land has been under the rule of Islam, it is the duty of all Muslims thereafter to ensure that does not change, and that the rights of the Muslims there continue to be upheld. This is in no way reflected by the present Turkish leadership or other leaders of the Muslims, who have all literally embraced the Zionists and become their partners and helpers, at the expense of the Muslims’.

The truth of Islam is so well understood by Muslims everywhere, that Melevt Cavusoglu should have felt utter humiliation, when he was approached by one of the Aqsa attendees and told “we await liberators not collaborators”. Pointing clearly to the fact that Turkeys stance of overlooking the Muslim blood on the hands of the Zionists is a strategy that smacks of  desperation and humiliation. Instead of the nobility and honor that would be theirs by fulfilling their Islamic duty towards the Blessed land and Al Aqsa.

Turkey and the Erdogan government should remember that it was the Ottomans who fought last and hardest for Palestine against the British until 1917. Palestine was under Ottoman rule for four centuries until the British took it, and the Ottoman Muslim armies fought hard to defend Jerusalem from British attack, until an estimated 25,000 Muslim soldiers were martyred. Their lives and the tens of thousands who have been slaughtered, wounded, disabled and displaced since. It has not been for today's Turkish leaders to join forces with the Zionist occupiers against these same people, and abandon Palestine as though its disposable!

Al Quds and the noble sanctuary Al Aqsa, the Muslim land and Muslim blood is a vital issue to all Muslims - one that it is mandated throughout the Islamic tradition that we shed blood for. These agreements signed with the Zionists are tantamount to treason! Turkey must sever relations with them and impose sanctions instead. Also, expel the ambassadors of the Jewish entity, consulates, and intelligence agencies from the country and mobilize armies that will purge all Zionists from the lands of Palestine - returning the right of Allah which is that it is HIS rule over the land and its people.

This can be achieved by Turkey if it adopts the Islamic ideological will to save Palestine from the clutches of the barbarians that have taken over it. It's great military might that spans, land, sea, and air will be an excellent army and resource for the promised Khilafah on the way of the Prophethood, which is the only system capable of saving Palestine and restoring peace to the region and the whole world.
