Welcome to today's episode of News Right Now - Buying Time.

Joe Biden became America’s 46th president booting out former president Trump and marking the beginning of his presidency as ‘a day of victory and hope’ and confidently proclaiming ‘democracy has prevailed.’ He stepped into his role, Biden promised many changes and differences. Within the first 24 hours, he signed 15 executive orders reversing several of Mr Trump's policies, including on COVID-19, climate change and racial inequality. Now, more than ever, it can be seen that America is an intensely polarized society with many internal challenges – any administration walking into this scenario would have a great task in dealing with this. However it would be very naïve to think from this that President Joe Biden will be too preoccupied with domestic issues to give attention to foreign policy.

Biden and his administration have already shown that they will ultimately continue the legacy of all previous administrations, back and forth between Democrats and Republicans. As an ideological nation, America seeks to dominate and project its power around the world. It seeks to control access to energy, gas, oil and all other natural resources and forcefully wants to maintain its influence in many regions, Eurasia, North Africa and the Middle East, as well as project its ideology way of life across the globe. It wants to maintain this regardless of which administration works to do it. The only difference you see is the manner in which this is done.

The Trump administration, we saw he took a very nationalistic and no-nonsense approach but Obama on the other and was very diplomatic and wanted to uphold a decent American image globally, which is the footsteps Biden will walk on. However the reality is very clear – Biden will continue giving the Zionist entity billions of dollars in aid as was promised for the next 10 years. As well as the fact that the embassy in Jerusalem will stay which Trump established as the capital of ‘’Israel’’ and the Four Trump-brokered diplomatic deals between Israel and Arab states are also likely to remain as it benefits diving the Muslim nations against Iran. Looking to Iran, Trump ripped up the nuclear deal and Biden and Antony Blinken have indicated they won’t be reversing that. So which new change can we really expect? And that’s just it! No change! As this is the fixed American foreign policy – built on a fixed thought and method determined by the Capitalist ideology!

Let us be very clear that Biden coming into power does not AT ALL mean this is better for us Muslims. It’s the same imperial and liberal agenda that Trump implemented, that Biden will now – with a different flavoring -be continuing. For decades, the US has seen the unification, values and laws of the Muslims as a major threat. For this reason we see the increased hostility against the Muslims – be it local Islamophobic attacks of hijab pulling or threats to our Masajids, or discriminating against our values like dress code and segregation or being labelled extreme or terrorist or even the continuous involvement and need to interfere in our countries. This will not end.

Secular democracy has failed! It is flawed from its very roots, so anything or anyone who champions its values or systems is fooled and in serious denial. Just one glimpse today towards America shows it cannot do the most basic role of taking care of its people, it cannot close the divisions of its people yet claims to be unifying the world on its freedoms and liberties. Alhamdulillah, for Islam, which gives us a just system and laws to rule the whole of mankind to live in harmony and fairness. It is only the Islamic Khilafah system which would ensure our biggest strength as an ummah – our unity. One global Ummah!
