Dawah around the World: The Abducted

Welcome to today’s episode of Dawah around the World – The Abducted.
In September 2017, Muhammad Junaid Iqbal and Syed Nabeel Akhter were abducted by government agencies, whilst they were distributing leaflets in the city of Karachi in Pakistan, calling for the return of the Khilafah.
Muhammad Junaid is a textile engineer, who graduated from NED University of Engineering and Technology, whilst Nabeel is a finalist in Chartered Accountancy. These men have never been involved in any criminal activity, rather their neighbours, colleagues and acquaintances are all witness to them being peaceful and good Muslims, who not only practice Islam, they call others to do the same.
There have been over fifteen hearings in the courts with no result whatsoever. their caring parents still do not know about the whereabouts of their sons.
It is no secret that sincere members of Hizb ut Tahrir - who call people to Islam and engage in political and intellectual struggle for the implementation of Islam are a target in Pakistan. If one were to speak out for Kufr Democracy and liberal freedoms, then there is no problem!
However, the moment any Muslim confines his political expression to the Quran and the Sunnah, he becomes a target of the regime. And when one is a target, it shows the true colours and potential of the Muslim rulers. They have no shame in showing the levels they will go to in order to suppress any form of political expression against them.
These abductions, in truth reveal the bankruptcy of the regime both politically and intellectually as it fails to meet Hizb ut-Tahrir’s political challenge. Instead it uses tactics that are typical of the dictatorial and repressive regimes that plague the Muslim world today.
The Hizb is a political party based on intellectual thoughts, working on the method of the Prophet Muhammad SAW to re-establish the Khilafah state. Never has violence or any act of force and aggression been implemented and applied, and never will this ever be the case.
The party members work day and night to expose the collaboration of our Muslim rulers with the Western powers whilst calling for the political system of Islam, the Khilafah. This is proven by the rich diversity and abundance of the Party literature published throughout the world by the party for the last 65 years. And the powerful words of Allah are always there to assure the victory and success of the believers in surah Nur verse 55 – Bismillah HiRahman NiRaheem –
وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَىٰ لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا ۚ يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا ۚ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ
“Allah has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the earth, as He granted it to those before them”
Therefore, for our regimes, their position and their power is at stake!!
It is for this reason only, the Pakistani regime further add to the pain for the families of our abducted brothers by asking them to undergo a procedure which is flawed! Minister of Human Rights, Dr Shireen Mazari, suggested that Prime Minister, Imran Khan, immediately sign the International Convention against Enforced Disappearances, because “country-wide legislation takes a lot of time as bills get stuck in different ministries.” But, the time length of this process, is unknown! And families of missing people are expected to just wait and can do absolutely nothing whilst being completely oblivious to the whereabouts and wellbeing of their loved ones.
This shows the failure of the justice system, using delay tactics, but also its incompetence of looking after its people, for whom they are there to serve!
In its rage to protect its interests and the interests of their Western masters, the regime blindly lashes out at Hizb ut-Tahrir as the strength of the Islamic call led by Hizb ut-Tahrir and its members continues to grow.
The continued abductions and arrests of party workers inside Pakistan will not deter Hizb ut-Tahrir from continuing its peaceful political work in exposing the corrupt democratic system and working for the re-establishment of the Khilafah in Pakistan. Brother Naveed Butt, the party spokesperson who is missing since May 2011 along with the other carriers of the truth are the result of the inability of the regime to refute the truthful stand of those who are working to ensure Pakistan is ruled according to the Quran and the Sunnah.
اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ فَتَـنُوا الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ وَ الۡمُؤۡمِنٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَتُوۡبُوۡا فَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ الۡحَرِيۡقِؕ
“Those who persecute the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire.” Surah Al-Buruj verse 10
