On Sunday, November 11th, the military of the occupying Zionist state launched a covert special forces operation in the Gaza Strip, targeting senior HAMAS officials.
Reading almost out of the scenes of a movie plot, the covert Zionist team had been caught at a Palestinian checkpoint within Gaza when the identities of the vehicle were confirmed to have been soldiers.
The skirmish resulted in an exchange of gunfire leading to the killing of 7 HAMAS soldiers, including a commander, as well as the killing of a senior Zionist officer. Subsequently, a firefight ensued, causing Zionist army to launch dozens of missiles against the Muslims in Gaza.
Both sides exchanged threats, with each side promising to ratchet up their response. With hostilities on the rise, the secret operation threatens to derail the delicate ceasefire brokered between the Zionists and HAMAS by the Egyptian and Qatari governments.
In an effort to de-escalate the violence, the occupying Zionist army allowed the Qatari government to transport suitcases containing $15 million in cash - money that was allocated to pay salaries of civil servants in Gaza.
Rather than improving the situation, the so-called cease-fire merely prolongs the plight of the people of Gaza, and entrenches the position of the Jewish state and exacerbates the humanitarian crisis.
Gaza, like the rest of Palestine, remains an open wound in the heart of the Muslim lands. The Muslims of Gaza in particular have suffered war after war, with its schools, hospitals, and residential buildings routinely bombed. It lies in wait, choked off from the outside world, between sealed borders naval blockades, while its people suffer in misery.
The Muslim rulers, if they had the political will, could end the plight of Palestine in a matter of hours. The large, well equipped, skilled armies of Egypt, Turkey, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Iran could easily deploy against the Zionist state - yet they remain dormant - witnessing the brutality and oppression from afar.
The real heroes of this tragic story are the Muslims of Gaza who have endured nightmarish conditions imposed upon them by the Jewish state, and even worse, betrayal and ambivalence from the Muslim rulers whose armies could teach the Zionists a lesson they would not soon forget. Brokering ceasefires and signing treaties is for cowards and traitors. The true solution is for the Muslim armies to unite and mobilize for the liberation of all of Palestine, from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, so that the Holy Land of Palestine, which Allah blessed, can once again be ruled by Islam.
