News Right Now: Ash Sham, Last Stand? 

Assalaam u alaykum wa rahmatullahee wa barakathu- welcome to News Right Now- Ash Shams, Last Stand?

For the past 7 years, the tyrant in Damascus has unleashed his brutality against the Muslims of Syria, indiscriminately dropping bombs on medical facilities and other civilian locations. Each time his savage regime was on its last legs, his allies from Iran, Russia, and Lebanon rushed in to his rescue.

Now, 7 years after the start of the blessed revolution in Sham, whose main goal was not just a change in faces, but a change in the very roots of the regime itself, the Muslims of Idlib make their last stand.

On September 18th, Russia and Turkey met to supposedly avert the onslaught of Idlib and the inevitable humanitarian disaster and civilian casualties that is sure to occur. The deal proposed a demilitarized zone between the Syrian army and rebel groups in Idlib province. Under the agreement, both Russia and Turkey agreed to oversee the creation of the demilitarized zone.

Despite the humanitarian support the Turkish government has offered fleeing Syrian civilians, it plays a key role in the continued strife in Syria. It talks of peace in Syria while making deals and agreements with the murderer, Vladimir Putin whose blood-stained hands are responsible for the catastrophe in Syria.

The Turkish government has not once taken a sincere and valiant stance against the Syrian and Russian governments although they had the power to do so. Instead, it provides just enough support to rebel factions and their leaders, who submit to the dictates of their financial backers. Without the betrayals and conspiracies of the leaders of the factions and the corrupt Muslim governments that support them, the regime of Bashar al-Assad would have fallen years ago.

It is evident that the Assad regime is weaker than the spider's web since they have still not crushed the resolve of the people of Ash Sham. If the revolutionaries were to unite under a sincere leadership it is absolutely possible that the vision for the return of Islam will be achieved by the permission of Allah (swt).

The tyrant and the treacherous rulers realise that the Muslims are still not down and will not give up. They will continue to plot and plan and offer ceasefires and use tactics that will divert the path of revival, but it is inevitable that in the end the Muslims will succeed. Now is not the time to turn back and miss the opportunities that are still there in this last stand.

To the sincere Muslims of Ash-Sham, remember that you were the first to revolt, so be the first to correct the path. Unite on the Islamic aqeedah and continue the project to replace the regime with the political system ordained by Allah and foretold by the Prophet (s), the Khilafah on the footsteps of prophethood.

Allah (swt) reassures us, Bimillah ir rahman nir raheem

إِن يَنصُرْكُمُ اللَّهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمْ وَإِن يَخْذُلْكُمْ فَمَن ذَا الَّذِي يَنصُرُكُم مِّن بَعْدِهِ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ)

“If Allah should aid you, no one can overcome you; but if He should forsake you, who is there that can aid you after Him? And upon Allah let the believers put their trust” [Surah al-e-Imran:160]
