Opening Channels of Communication, Conciliation, and Normalization with the Jewish Entity
A Dangerous Slope and Grave Evil Rejected by our Religion and the Truthful among our Brothers

“Three informed sources revealed to Reuters on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, that the UAE opened a secret communication channel between (Israel) and Syria focusing on security and intelligence matters. The sources, including a Syrian security official and a regional intelligence official, told Reuters that the indirect dialogue centers on security and intelligence issues and building trust. A source close to the matter stated that the initiative began days after Syrian President Ahmad Al-Shara’s visit to Abu Dhabi on April 13.” Additionally, “informed sources told Reuters on Sunday that Syrian President Ahmad Al-Shara plans to propose initiatives including building a 'Trump Tower' in the capital, Damascus, engaging in a peace track with (Israel), and granting the United States direct access to Syria’s energy resources as part of a strategy he prepared to try to meet U.S. President Donald Trump during his current visit to the Gulf region.” (France 24)

Al-Shara said in a press conference held with French President Macron in Paris: “There are indirect negotiations (with Israel) taking place through intermediaries to calm the situation and try to contain it so that it doesn’t spiral out of control for either party.” He added: “The (Israeli) interventions are random and have broken the 1974 Agreement. Since our arrival in Damascus, we have informed all concerned parties that Syria is committed to this agreement.”

The French president expressed hope “that there would be dialogue with (Israel) regarding security, as the current methodology is unacceptable. A new approach based on increased cooperation must be adopted. We are talking here about an openness process concerning negotiations. Syria is a very important country for regional stability.”

Since the fall of the previous regime, the Jewish entity has been wreaking havoc in Ash-Sham, violating its land and skies, blatantly targeting its resources, weapons, garrisons, and airports. It occupies parts of its territory and shamelessly intervenes to support certain parties under the pretext of “protecting minorities,” using them as tools to achieve its interests, not theirs, without facing any firm, principled response that disciplines the Jews and those behind them and sends a message of defiance and honor: that the one whom Allah honored with toppling a tyrant—despite the support of all enemies of Islam, is capable of making the Jews (the most cowardly of Allah’s creation in war and confrontation) forget their devilish schemes. But instead of this decisive principled response, the policy has been to beg the international community to stop this aggression, despite the fact that the international community is the one that created this cancerous entity on the land of Palestine. It is the one that protects it, gives it the green light to wage war on Islam and its people out of fear of the return of its state, governance, and authority. It is also the one that supplies it with all types of weapons, led by America, to confront a sincere, believing, and struggling group in Gaza that has humiliated the arrogant entity, its army, and soldiers, and dragged their noses in the dirt, despite the scarcity of resources and the betrayal of near and far.

What is required of the Syrian revolution, after Allah has honored it with toppling the tyrannical regime, and what is expected from it, having tasted the bitterness of betrayal, is to take the initiative to mobilize the ummah’s energies and unify its sources of strength to establish the rule of Islam and its state, to adopt the critical issues of the Ummah, foremost among them, the victory of our people in Palestine, and to work toward liberating it from the filth of the Jews. This is what the people of Gaza, and indeed all of Palestine including the captive Jerusalem and the grieving Al-Aqsa Mosque, have been waiting for: that the people of the Levant would be the first to hasten to end the dark and oppressive decades-long era of the monstrous entity's occupation of our land and sanctities, while the armies of the Ummah watched, paralyzed by rulers who shrink their role to protect their thrones. These rulers seek to make their armies the first line of defense for the Jews, who cannot endure a single serious battle when the moment comes, when the fire of the Ummah and its people of strength is lit, and the armies move chanting takbir to make the entity vanish without a trace.

This is the legitimate and principled position that must be taken to support the cause of Palestine and to confront the tyranny of the Jewish entity, whose leaders are haunted by fear despite their displays of heroism and strength. Their superiority is an illusion, and their entity, by Allah's will, is doomed and defeated, sooner or later. A monstrous entity that can only be dealt with by uprooting it and severing its inflated existence.

We have long said that this entity cannot be dealt with through conciliatory discourse, appeasement, softness, or peace messages. There is only one solution, as written in the Book of Allah and the chapter of Al-Isra, Ayat (verses) that will be recited until the Day of Judgment:

[فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الْآخِرَةِ لِيَسُوءُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُوا الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُوا مَا عَلَوْا تَتْبِيراً]

“Then when the final promise came, [We sent your enemies] to sadden your faces and to enter the temple in Jerusalem, as they entered it the first time, and to destroy what they had taken over with [total] destruction.” [Surat Al-Isra :7]

Indeed, the people of Syria are the most worthy to support their brothers and fulfill their Lord's promise, for they fully understand the meaning of Muslims standing with the truth and supporting it, after 14 years of oppression and aggression practiced by the former Assad regime against the people of Ash-Asham, under U.S. sponsorship from behind the curtain through tools, agents, and proxies.

What we see today of moves and hear of statements about coexistence with neighbors and openness to the wicked, as a prelude to normalization and the so-called "Peace of the Brave", portends a great danger threatening the people of the Levant and undermining the goals and principles of their revolution, for which they have offered millions of martyrs and displaced people.

Even thinking about or attempting to communicate with the Jewish entity, regardless of the justification, is a major crime, a dangerous slope, and a mark of disgrace that must not be tolerated by the sons of a revolution that offered immense sacrifices.

Pragmatic positions are rejected by our deen and the pride of our men. Syrian Muslims classify them as deadly major sins that must be denounced and confronted, as they are a dangerous path and an entry point into a swamp of concessions in hopes of lifting sanctions or stabilizing a rule built on a shaky edge.

A rule that is not founded on the creed of Islam and supported by its sincere sons is doomed to collapse, after serving the interests of conspiring nations.

The arms of the men of Islam, who crowd the land of Ash-Sham and the surrounding lands of Islam, long for the day of the march and the epic battle under a sincere, truthful leadership that truly represents the people of the revolution and their sacrifices, and leads them to their glory and honor. This can only happen when the law of Allah is implemented through the Islamic State, which our Prophet (swt) gave us good news of when he said:

«ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةً عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ»

“Then there will be a Caliphate upon the Prophetic method.”

And we ask Allah to make Ash-Sham its capital. Anything else is merely walking in the path of states and their imposed policies and exported decisions and legislations that please the West and harm us.

Indeed, our conflict with the Jews is not a conflict over borders but a conflict over existence a matter of life or death until the command of Allah comes, as written in Surah Al-Isra. And this shall come to pass, by the will of Allah, and we ask Him to make it soon.

[إِنَّ فِي ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَذِكْرَى لِمَن كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدࣱ]

“Indeed in that is a reminder for whoever has a heart or who listens while he is present [in mind].” (Surat Qaf: 37)
