As part of its campaign to thwart the plan to tear Sudan apart by separating Darfur, the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan held a political address in Khartoum, in the Souq al-Dakhinat al-Awamirah area, Saturday morning, 4 October 2025.
Sheikh Abdul Fattah Ahmed, member of Hizb ut Tahrir, spoke in it, beginning with the verses and Hadiths that emphasize the unity of the Islamic Ummah and the unity of the Islamic State. Islam has stressed the killing of the one who wants to break the unity of the Ummah, divide its group, and tear apart its unity. He said that when the disbelieving (kafir) enemy conspires against the unity of the Ummah and its state and seeks to tear it apart, then the Muslims must make this issue a vital issue and take towards it the action of life or death.
And we in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan, based on our responsibility towards the Ummah, clarify to you the dangerous plan that America is now carrying out to detach Darfur from Sudan, just as it separated the South before.
Sheikh Ahmed explained the prohibition of this plan and urged the people of the country to stand firmly to confront it, as they are capable of doing so, so that Darfur does not go as the South went. He urged the sincere people of power and protection to preserve the unity of the country, and that Allah will question them about that. He called on the people of the country to put their hands with Hizb ut Tahrir to establish the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) that will cut off the hand of America and the disbelieving West from tampering with the affairs of the Ummah.
The crowd interrupted the Sheikh’s speech with chants of “Allahu Akbar” and “La ilaha illa Allah”, repeating that the Khilafah is the solution. One of the attendees said that this work is what is required, and people must rally around it.
