A Call to the People of Sudan... Do Not Allow America to Tear Your Country Apart and Strip Darfur Away
(Translated)

Allah (swt) says: [وَإِنَّ هَذِهِ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَأَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَاتَّقُونِ] “Verily this, your community, is one single community, and I am your Lord—so worship Me.” [Surat Al-Anbiyā’: 92]. And the Prophet (saw) said, as narrated by Muslim:

«فَمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَ أَمْرَ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ وَهِيَ جَمِيعٌ، فَاضْرِبُوهُ بِالسَّيْفِ كَائِناً مَنْ كَانَ»

“Verily there will be slips, and whoever intends to split the affair of this Ummah while it is united, strike him with the sword, whoever he may be.”

O Muslims: Nations in their life have decisive issues that is, issues toward which one takes a single stance: life under them or death for them. The creed of Islam has specified for us, we the Muslims, our decisive issues; that is, those for which the measure taken is life or death. Among these decisive issues is the issue of the unity of the state and the unity of the Ummah. When we removed this issue from its rightful station previously, America, with the help of some of our sons, was able to tear our country and separate South Sudan, and now it returns to complete what it began before to draw, with borders of blood, new states in what remains of our country; by stripping Darfur away, where events accelerate in service of America’s scheme with the assistance of its tools inside and outside.

America, which separated South Sudan under the pretexts of alleged peace, by the hands of rulers and rebels, and with the blessing of politicians and some media figures and the silence of scholars, seeks today by the same scenario to strip Darfur from Sudan; by preparing the stage in Darfur which is controlled by the Rapid Support Forces except for Al-Fashir, which strives to bring it down and it has proclaimed a state by declaring a parallel government in Nyala, the capital of South Darfur. Will you let it do that in your country?! By Allah, He will question you after He asked you to die without averting the colonial disbeliever from achieving his goal.

O People of Sudan: Rise to foil the scheme, uproot the tuft of agents and hypocrites, and correct the course of your life, for the believer is not bitten twice from the same hole. We have been bitten from America’s hole by its separation of South Sudan — shall we allow it to separate Darfur?! On the authority of Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet (saw) said:

«لَا يُلْدَغُ الْمُؤْمِنُ مِنْ جُحْرٍ وَاحِدٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ» “A believer should not be stung twice (by something) out of the same hole.”

So rise, O Muslims, to obey Allah by making the issue of the unity of the state a decisive issue, toward which the measure is life or death. From ‘Urfaijah it was reported that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (swt) say:

«مَنْ أَتَاكُمْ وَأَمْرُكُمْ جَمِيعٌ عَلَى رَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ، يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَشُقَّ عَصَاكُمْ، أَوْ يُفَرِّقَ جَمَاعَتَكُمْ، فَاقْتُلُوهُ»

“Whoever comes to you while your affair is collectively in the hand of one man and intends to split your stick or to divide your gathering — kill him.”

Shall we obey our beloved Muhammad (saw), or shall we obey America the disbelieving (kafir) colonizer?! No doubt we obey the Messenger (saw) in response to the command of our Lord who said, glorified be He:

[وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَاحْذَرُوا فَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا عَلَى رَسُولِنَا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ]

“And obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and beware; but if you turn away — then know that the duty of Our Messenger is only the clear delivery [of the message].” [Surat Al-Mā’idah: 92].

And Allah (swt) says:

[وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانْتَهُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ]

“And whatever the Messenger gives you — take it; and whatever he forbids you — refrain [from it]. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in punishment.” [Surat Al-Hashr: 7].
