The Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, extended his Eid al-Fitr greetings and expressed his gratitude to the governments and people of Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei for the solidarity shown towards Iran. The message was shared by Araghchi via a post on his X platform account on March 22, 2026, which read, "Happy Eid al-Fitr. Thank you to the governments, the Muslim societies, and the lovers of justice in Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei) who condemned the brutal aggression of the United States and the Zionist regime against the Muslim nation of Iran during the month of Ramadan, and for demonstrating your solidarity."

As a minister holding a prominent position, and as a politician, this is certainly no ordinary greeting, let alone one that has never been uttered before. Given that it was addressed not only to the governments but also to the "societies," we, as part of the Malaysian society, wish to reciprocate this kind greeting with an even better one, plainly and without reservation. It is our hope that he reads and subsequently "responds" to our message accordingly:

O Seyed Abbas Araghchi!

(1) You (and Iran) must continue to fight against America and are unequivocally obligated to render your intentions sincerely and solely for Allah (swt) in this war. It must not be fought for personal gain or the exclusive interests of your nation state, but rather for the overarching interests of Islam and the Muslim Ummah;

(2) You are obligated to declare clearly and firmly to the entire world that your war against America and the Jewish entity is no ordinary war, but is instead Jihad Fi Sabilillah (War in the Path of Allah). Through it, your objective must be to elevate the Word of Allah to the highest, to defeat the enemies of Allah, to bestow honour upon Islam and its adherents, and to bring humiliation upon disbelief and its followers;

(3) You must call upon all Muslim lands, particularly those near to you such as Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkey, Egypt, Syria, and others, to join you in this Jihad. This applies even if they are regimes that have betrayed Islam, for Jihad must proceed whether under the authority of a transgressive (Fajir) or a just ruler «الْجِهَادُ مَاضٍ مُذْ بَعَثَنِي اللَّهُ إِلَى أَنْ يُقَاتِلَ آخِرُ أُمَّتِي الدَّجَّالَ، لَا يُبْطِلُهُ جَوْرُ جَائِرٍ وَلَا عَدْلُ عَادِل» “Jihad remains continuous from the time Allah sent me until the last of my Ummah fights the Dajjal. It cannot be invalidated by the tyranny of a tyrant nor by the justice of a just ruler” [Sunan Abi Dawud].

(4) We observe that America and its protégé, the Jewish entity, are currently in severe distress and on the brink of defeat. Therefore, you must never cease striking them until you successfully cripple them so that they can never rise again. As for the Jewish entity, you must continue your offensives against it until it is eradicated from the face of the earth. Furthermore, you are obligated to liberate the entirety of the Blessed Land of Palestine and return it to the Muslim Ummah as its rightful owners;

(5) You are obligated to establish the Khilafah (Caliphate) and pledge allegiance (bay'ah) to a Khalifah in a legitimate manner, subsequently inviting all Muslim lands to unite under this Khilafah. Through this, not only will you be able to defeat America and the Jewish entity, but by His permission, you will overcome all enemies of Islam and restore the Khilafah as a global superpower for a second time. Not only will you be supported by the Muslim Ummah, but you will also be granted victory by your Lord, the Lord of mankind, the Lord of the entire universe and life, Who has promised to help His servants who champion His Deen

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنْ تَنْصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنْصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ]

"O you who have believed, if you support (the Deen of) Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet" [Muhammad (47): 7].

Should you accomplish all of the above, the Eid al-Fitr greeting you extended to us will truly manifest itself as a greeting of the day of victory. It will be a day where we will truly return to the pure disposition (Fitrah) of our creation as the best of nations. It will be a day that shall never be forgotten, not only by the Muslim Ummah but by all of humanity — a day where your name will be inscribed in the heavens as the defender of Allah's religion, qualifying you for His Paradise.

However, if you disregard our responsive "Eid greeting," and hereafter revert to appeasing and collaborating with the enemy of Allah, America; if you allow the Jewish entity to persist in its existence and its oppression against the Muslims; and if you continue to take pride in your nation-state — a construct of the colonialists — then we leave all your affairs to Allah. We are certain that He will replace you with another people, upon whom He will bestow the victory and honour to defeat His enemies, liberate the Muslim Ummah and its territories, and establish His Khilafah

[وَإِنْ تَتَوَلَّوْا يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُوا أَمْثَالَكُمْ]

"And if you turn away, He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you" [Muhammad (47): 38] and indeed, that is the most excellent of victories and the highest of honours in this world and the Hereafter.
