The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) officers of Hasina’s brutal regime have abducted another member of Hizb ut Tahrir, Faidur Rahman, from the capital’s Mirpur area on 15 January 2016. Since then, he has been held without having him produced at the court. On Sunday 10 January, 2016, local news media outlet in Chittagong, The Daily Purbokone, has published a front-page report, titled “Talented students targeted by the militants”, which absurdly attempted to link Hizb ut Tahrir to militancy and vilify the truthful image of its party activists with fictitious information.

On Tuesday 15th December 2015, Saudi Arabia announced a military coalition of 34 Muslim countries to fight “terrorism” in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Egypt, Afghanistan and other Muslim countries.

On October 28, 2015, a few Bangladeshi satellite media spread harmful lies about Hizb ut Tahrir with a piece of fabricated news being syndicated, claiming the party had sent threatening letters to the judges of the supreme court of Bangladesh.
