HTI Urges Russia to Stop Cruelty Against The Islamic Activists

  • Published in Pictures

HTI-Press. Hizb ut-Tahrir Indonesia staged a protest on Thursday (June 16th) afternoon to condemn Russian government who committed cruelty against the Muslims in Russia  in front of the Russian Embassy, Jakarta. In order to obtain confession from two activists of HT Russia, Sidikov Farukh Fadhludinovitz and Albert Zakoyovitz Shakirov, the Department of Homeland Security of Russia (FSB) committed cruelty to the families of those two activists who have been detained since December 10th, 2010.

Not only did the FSB kidnapped and insulted the Muslim sister in Russia, Minibayeva Ilmira Yonirovna (26), who is 8-month pregnant, they also searched her house so rudely  that she almost had a miscarriage.  The FSB personnel were trampling on the Islamic books which contain many verses of the holy Koran.

Due to such cruel actions, HTI urged the Russian government to immediately stop such dreadful actions in achieving their objective, which is clearly contrary to the values and principles supposedly adhered by the Russian, namely human rights and democracy.

However, whether the Russian government will stop such cruel actions or not, HT Russia and other HT activists around the world, will hold on tight to the method which is a non-violence method of preaching to re-establish the Syariah in the framework of Islamic Caliphate.

"Remember, O the Russian ruler, your cruel actions will not stop the activities of Hizb ut-Tahrir there! Sooner or later your cruelty will bring you down,  then the Caliphate will be established to revenge your attitude! " threatened Roni, one of the protesters.

During the protest,  the Russian embassy refused to meet with the delegation led by HTI Spokesman Ismail Yusanto. HTI denounced the cowardice of the Embassy. "The attitude of the Russian embassy is a reflection of a coward, how could they refuse to meet and discuss with a delegation of Hizb-ut Tahrir who just want to protest," said the Spokesman of HTI Ismail Yusanto. HTI-Press. Hizb ut-Tahrir Indonesia again held the second series of Rajab Conference 1432  in various major cities in Indonesia. After Banjarmasin in South Kalimantan became the first city to hold such conference on Sunday (June 2nd , 2011), which was attended by around 10 thousand Muslims, the second series of the conference are held in six cities in Indonesia simultaneously from Kendari (Southeast Sulawesi), Samarinda (East Kalimantan), Ketapang (West Kalimantan), Bandar Lampung (Lampung, Sumatra), Batam (Riau, Sumatra) to the Eastern Part of Indonesia in Jayapura (Papua) on Sunday (June 12th, 2011).

In Kendari around 20 thousand Muslims attended the MTQ Monument in Kendari. The event began with the opening speech of the HTI local leader in North Sulawesi, Ust Ahmad Rois. He said that the purpose of the Rajab Conference is to remind the Muslims about two events : the Ascension of the Prophet and the Collapse of the Khalifah. Through the momentum of the Rajab Conference, it  is expected that all Muslims are encouraged for its establishment.

Around 2500 Muslims packed the Youth Pledge Building Indoor Sports Centre (PKOR) in Way Halim Bandar Lampung. In Samarinda, the Rajab Conference was attended by around 7000 Muslims who fulfilled the Segiri Sports Stadium.  In West Kalimantan, more than 100 people attended the local Rajab Conference 1432 AH in Ketapang district. Ketapang. They came from various elements of society.

It was reported that the Rajab Conference in Batam was attended by various elements of society.  In Abdul Jalam Tumenggung Sports Hall Batam, approximately 1900 Muslims were determined to struggle for the establishment of Khilafah "Caliphate". They came from various areas such as Batam Island, Karimun Island, Bintan Island, Singapore and Malaysia.

The Rajab Conference in Papua was held at Hotel Muspaqco Jayapura. Around 1000 people packed the Hall of the hotel. Muhammad Jaffar Abdullah, the HTI local leader, states "Papua is ready to enforce Islamic Sharia and Khilafah "Caliphate" ,". Papua is a predominantly non-Muslim region. However, after having interaction and contacts with Hizb ut-Tahrir, the local figures accept the struggle of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Papua. The reason is because the Khilafah "Caliphate" does not only safeguard the Muslims but also the non-Muslims as well.

This event is a series of Rajab Conference held in 29 cities across Indonesia. The climax of the event is on June 29th at the Sports Stadium in Lebak Bulus, Jakarta. In a press release, the Spokesman of HTI, Ismail Yusanto said that the Rajab Conference is not to weep the sad moment of the collapse of the Ottoman Khalifah, on the contrary, the conference was held to boost the enthusiasm and the optimism for the success of the struggle to enforce Sharia and Khilafah "Caliphate". "Of course this struggle requires seriousness, sincerity and support from people and the supports are obvious, among which can seen from the enthusiasm of the participants of the conference," he said. Nouriel Roubini: This "Perfect Storm" Of Threats Could Slam The Economy By 2013
The world economy could face a perfect storm of soaring sovereign debt and slowing growth, according to the economist who predicted the last global financial crisis. Debt problems in the US and Europe, slowing growth in China and stagnation in Japan could combine to harm the economic recovery, the New York University professor Nouriel Roubini said. This in turn could hurt the GCC by choking off demand for oil, the region's main revenue source, other economists say. Mr Roubini said there was a one-in-three chance of different factors converging to smother growth from 2013. Other possible outcomes were "anaemic but OK" global growth or an "optimistic" scenario in which the economy improved. "There are already elements of fragility," he told Bloomberg News. "Everybody's kicking the can down the road of too much public and private debt. The can is becoming heavier and heavier, and bigger on debt, and all these problems may come to a head by 2013 at the latest." Politicians and investors have closely followed Mr Roubini's comments since he made a series of accurate predictions about the global meltdown in 2008.

Iraq: Auditors Says $6.6 Billion Missing from Pentagon Probably Stolen
After the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in March 2003, the George W. Bush administration flooded the conquered country with so much cash to pay for reconstruction and other projects in the first year that a new unit of measurement was born. Pentagon officials determined that one giant C-130 Hercules cargo plane could carry $2.4 billion in shrink-wrapped bricks of $100 bills. They sent an initial full planeload of cash, followed by 20 other flights to Iraq by May 2004 in a $12-billion haul that U.S. officials believe to be the biggest international cash airlift of all time. This month, the Pentagon and the Iraqi government are finally closing the books on the program that handled all those Benjamins. But despite years of audits and investigations, U.S. Defense officials still cannot say what happened to $6.6 billion in cash - enough to run the Los Angeles Unified School District or the Chicago Public Schools for a year, among many other things.

CIA Expands Drone Strikes to Yemen
The CIA is ready to expand its drone strikes from Pakistan to Yemen. A U.S. official said that a secret plan to bomb Yemen has been in the works for months, Fox News reports this week. Obama approved the secret plan without consulting Congress last year. It has been under development for several months and is set to be rolled out in July. In May, the State Department ordered all "non-essential" U.S. diplomats and family members to leave Yemen immediately. It also issued a warning to Americans to abstain from traveling to Yemen. The Wall Street Journal makes the case that drone attacks are more civilian friendly than the sort of NATO bombing currently underway in another Arab country, Libya. "CIA drones use smaller warheads, which officials hope will lower the risk of civilian deaths and anti-American backlash in Yemen, the newspaper said," Fox reports.

90% seized 'Taliban' civilians: U.S. report
Following the release of figures intended to portray an American success in Afghanistan, a U.S. military report shows that almost 90 percent of Afghans "captured" as Taliban militants were actually civilians. Back in December 2010, U.S. commander General David Petraeus claimed that during the previous six months a total of 4,100 Taliban rank and file had been captured and 2,000 had been killed, only to be revealed that nearly 90 percent of those captured had been civilians, Inter Press Service reported. Another set of misleading figures that was circulated claimed that U.S. Special Operations Forces had captured 1,355 rank and file Taliban militants, killed 1,031, while having killed or captured 365 middle or high-ranking Taliban members through May and July of the same year. The figures were released for media publicity and intended to reverse the U.S. reputation over its losses in war-torn Afghanistan. The report indicates that even more detainees were released from the U.S. detention facility at Bagram airbase, also known as the Detention Facility in Parwan, after their files were reviewed by a panel of military officers. Although the number of Taliban deaths claimed by the U.S. is impossible to double check, the number of detainees can be monitored, as detainees can only be held in a Forward Operating Base for 14 days before being released or sent to long-term detention. The death toll of the U.S.-led forces in 2010 stood at 711, making the year the deadliest on record for foreign forces in Afghanistan since the start of the U.S.-led invasion in 2001. NATO has admitted that the power of militants in Afghanistan is on the rise despite the presence of nearly 150,000 U.S.-led forces in the war-ravaged country.

US suspicious of Pakistan's bomb facility leak to militants: Robert Gates
US Defense Secretary Robert Gates has said Washington is disappointed and suspicious that militants in Pakistan were apparently tipped off that American intelligence officials had discovered two of their suspected bomb-making facilities, but stopped short of concluding that Pakistani officials had leaked the information to the al-Qaida-linked Haqqani insurgents. The US provided Pakistan with the specific locations of insurgent bomb-making factories twice in recent weeks, only to see the militants learn their cover had been blown and vacate the sites before military action could be taken, US and Pakistani officials said. "We don't know the specifics of what happened. There are suspicions and there are questions, but I think there was clearly disappointment on our part," The Washington Post quoted Gates, as telling a foreign news agency in an exclusive interview. Trust has been in short supply in the US-Pakistan relationship, highlighted most dramatically by the US decision not to tell Islamabad in advance of the May 2 Navy SEAL raid on Osama bin Laden's compound in Pakistan's Abbottabad city, out of fear that they might tip off the al-Qaida leader or his protectors. The State Department's counterterrorism coordinator, Daniel Benjamin, said on Tuesday that Osama bin Laden, who was killed by US troops in last month's raid on his lair, "obviously" benefited from a support network inside Pakistan. When asked whether it was time to take a harder line with Pakistan, Gates counseled patience, and noted that the Pakistanis have not forgotten that the US abandoned them in the late 1980s after the Soviets pulled out of Afghanistan. "We need each other, and this relationship goes beyond Afghanistan," he said. "It has to do with regional stability, and I think we have to be realistic about Pakistani distrust ... and their deep belief that when we're done with al-Qaida that we'll be gone, again."

Kissinger, Huntsman: U.S., China need cyber détente
The United States and China need to reach an agreement to restrict cyber attacks and designate some areas as off limits to hacking, two former senior U.S. officials said on Tuesday. Henry Kissinger, an architect of the opening of U.S. relations with China in the 1970s, told a Thomson Reuters event that Washington and Beijing both had significant espionage capabilities and the key was finding a way to discuss them. Jon Huntsman, the former U.S. ambassador to China, likened raising cyber attacks with Beijing to the challenge of discussing missile defense and the military use of space -- issues that are also highly sensitive to the Chinese. "At some point, we are going to have to develop a context in which we can actually discuss this and, I would think, draw some red lines around areas that we don't want them into and they might not want us into," said Huntsman, who left China in April to plan his presidential election campaign, and was speaking at the same event. Their calls for a cyber detente follow a blitz of hacking attacks on major U.S.-based institutions in recent weeks, including the International Monetary Fund, the Senate, and companies such as Citigroup and Lockheed Martin.

Demonstration against Russian repression of Muslims

  • Published in Video
  •   |

13 June 2011, Sydney, Australia - Muslims gathered outside the Russian Consulate in Sydney today demonstrating against repression of Muslims, women in particular, by Russian authorities.

The following messages were delivered:

1. Muslims in Australia, and around the world, strongly condemn Russia's continued targeting of Muslims. In spite of presenting a new face of civilisation and progress to the world, Russia continues to use barbaric tactics of repression and extra-legal measures whenever expedient.

2. The use of the pretext of fighting terrorism to target and silence Muslims is old and lame. Russia does not fool anyone by its cheap tactics.

3. The targeting of Muslim woman in particular - as has occurred recently in the city of Ufa - is a low that Russia should be ashamed of, and it highlights the severity of her crimes. The honour of our mothers, sisters and wives is absolutely sacrosanct, and a matter Muslims do not take lightly at all.

4. Russia should not think that the Muslims within her borders are a small minority which she can deal with as she pleases. The Muslims of Russia are not a minority; they are an inextricable part of the global Muslim nation.

5. Russia should not take advantage of the fact that the current regimes in the Muslim World are all lackeys of the West that do not care for the welfare of Muslims around the world. The time when these regimes will be relegated to the dustbin of history and replaced with the Caliphate is near. The excesses that Russia commits now will not be forgotten and the Caliphate will deal with those who oppress Muslims swiftly and severely.

Ends.

1/ Police in Sudan break up Islamist demonstration

By MOHAMMED OSMAN
Associated Press Published: Saturday, Jun. 11, 2011 - 8:43 am

KHARTOUM, Sudan -- Police used tear gas and batons to break up an Islamist demonstration Saturday calling for more troops in disputed southern border regions less than a month before the south's independence, a spokesman for the leading Islamist party said.

North and south Sudan fought a more than two-decade civil war that ended with a 2005 peace agreement, and the south voted overwhelmingly for independence. Southern Sudan is poised to become the world's newest nation in July.

But tensions over the border regions of Abyei - a fertile land near major oil fields - and Kordofan have raised fears of conflict only weeks before the south secedes.

Saturday's demonstration had the proper permits and was intended to be a show of support for the north's decision to send troops to Abyei and Kordufan, said Ibrahim Osman Abu Khalil, spokesman for the Islamic Liberation Party. But he said as some 5,000 members gathered outside the party headquarters, officials suddenly announced that it was no longer allowed.

Abu Khalil said seven party members were arrested and two remained in detention hours later. One party member was seriously injured, he said.

Northern troops invaded Abyei after a May 19 attack on northern and U.N. troops by southern soldiers. The U.N. report said two northern soldiers were killed in that attack, which it called a trigger for the invasion but one that appeared to be a "deliberate plan" by the north, which was already building up troops in the area.

Abul Mal Muhit Presents Annual Awami Pillage Plan (AAPP)!

On 8th June (2011), the Hasina government's Finance Minister Abul Mal Muhit presented the Annual Awami Pillage Plan for 2011-12 of BDT 1,63,589 crores! It is enough for someone to note that the objective of 2011-12 budget mentioned by A. Muhit that, "...high performing growth supported by advanced and innovative technology with prices of commodities stabilized, increasing income and human poverty brought to a minimum level, health and education for all secured and capacity building combined with enhanced creativity, social justice established, social disparity reduced...", is almost an exact repetition of the one presented approximately 40 years earlier by first Finance Minister Captain Mansur Ali ".... ...prices of commodities stabilized, increasing income and human poverty brought to a minimum level, health and education for all secured, social justice established, and social disparity reduced....". The Muslims of Bangladesh state clearly their hate and reject of the pillage plan, rhetoric and pack of lies by the servants of IMF and WB, treacherous agents and looters.

The Pillage Plan states that 8% of the total financing will come from foreign loan while 11% of the expenditure is for payment of interest on foreign loans, which clearly highlights to the people that the budget is nothing but a plan to loot the people's wealth and consolidate IMF and WB domination. In the name of the Public Resources Management Credit (PRMC) dictated by IMF and WB the government imposed more taxes and VAT. These organizations have at first suggested the liberalization of interest rate (in 1990s), and then came up with the PRMC. Later on they came up with more lethal weapon of killing people known as Poverty Reduction Strategic Plan (PRSP). With its total failure to reduce poverty, income inequality, they have introduced SAP (structural adjustment program) to open the market via trade liberalization and privatization. In reality the idea of free trade opened Bangladeshi market to US-UK-Indian companies, ending up with heavy trade deficit, lack of local industry and more debt burden upon the people. After the visible failure of SAP they are now calling for PPP (public private partnership), a new form of privatization policy in disguise. Thus like the political domination of the imperialists, IMF and WB dictate the economic affairs of the Ummah to the point that one WB officials in Dhaka said that ‘........the thing is that we don't want to reach an agreement with the government every time we make an engagement, rather we want to impose a policy, that will work best.... '

Only the Islamic economic system under the leadership of Khilafah "Caliphate" State will liberate the Muslims of Bangladesh from the brutality of capitalist economic system. The most important responsibility of the Khilafah "Caliphate" state will be to fulfill the basic needs of all people. The main economic policy will be distribution of wealth. No tax is imposed on income or expenditure like VAT, rather it is only collected on wealth in the form of Zakah, Ushr, Kharaj and other sources like Jizyah, Fa'i etc. Interest based financial system and capitalist digital looting machine stock market will be abolished to release more fund for real sector investment and productivity. Since electricity, gas, oil and minerals are public properties they will not be handed over to a few private or or imperialist capitalist companies like Summit power or Conoco Philips in the name of privatization. All these resources will be provided to the people at maintenance cost. Dollar based currency system will be abolished to axe American hands in our economy and international and local inflationary effect on purchasing power by  introducing Shari'ah compliant gold and silver standard. Hizb ut-Tahrir calls upon the people to root out capitalist slaves like Hasina-Khaleda and to establish Khilafah "Caliphate" so that the Ummah can become liberated from the shackles of capitalist system.

Poverty, unemployment, price hike etc are the result of the kufr democratic system;  Khilafah is the only solution

Members of Hizb ut-tahrir delivered public speeches after Jummah prayers today outside various mosques in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet where they said poverty, unemployment, price hike, electricity crisis etc are the result of the kufr democratic system; and the Khilafah "Caliphate" is the only solution. The speakers said whatever causes the Awami-BNP rulers mention for these problems such as ‘we don't have enough wealth in the country', or ‘prices have increased in the international market', or ‘the previous governments are to blame', these are nothing but lies and deception. The fundamental basis of democracy is the real cause of the multitude of problems this country is facing.

In the democratic system sovereignty and power is concentrated in the hands of a minority elite who make laws according their own interests and rule the country in the way they wish. The rulers in the democratic system take no responsibility for the people; their sole concern is consolidating their position in power and filling their own pockets by impoverishing the people. Furthermore while the rulers enjoy absolute power, yet their accountability is zero.

Only the Khilafah "Caliphate" ruling system can solve the problems of the country because it is the system from Allah (swt), our Lord and Creator. Under this system the Khaleefah has no right to legislate, so he has no scope to be despotic or rule in the way he wishes. The Khaleefah rules the people fearing Allah (swt) and feeling responsibility towards the people. He has to fulfil the basic needs of the people and after that facilitate the fulfilment of their luxurious needs. The Khaleefah also has to account for his actions to all citizens of the state, Muslims and non-Muslims alike. Indeed with Khilafah "Caliphate" system people's misery and hardship will end; otherwise they will continue to persist for many more decades to come. Allah (swt) says,

"And whosoever turns away from My Message, verily for him is a life of hardship, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Judgment." [TMQ Surah Ta-Ha: 124]
