America:Muslims see ‘foreign law' bill as attack on Shariah
A national drive against citing "foreign" laws in U.S. courts - one that critics say is a veiled attack on Islamic Shariah law - has reached the state with the nation's largest concentration of Muslims. The Michigan bill, which mirrors "American Laws for American Courts" legislation introduced in more than 20 other states, was introduced in June by state Rep. Dave Agema, Grandville Republican. He has argued that it has nothing to do with Islam or the faith's Koran-based Shariah law, but is designed to stop anyone who seeks to invoke a foreign law in state courts. A study by the Center for Security Policy in Washington, D.C., looked at 50 appellate cases from 23 states and found that Shariah law had been applied or formally recognized in court decisions. Those cases, said Christopher Holton, a vice president at the center, represent the tip of the iceberg in what he describes as a growing conflict in state courts, where many decisions are never publicized. "There is no question - Shariah principles are finding their way into our courts for years now. It's inherently discriminatory for women - most of these involved family law. When you get a ruling in a child custody case from Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan or Egypt and it's family law, it's all Shariah," he said.
Western media openly admits foreign Special Forces behind overthrow of Gaddafi
Now that NATO is within reach of overthrowing Gaddafi, the corporate media is rife with reports that al-Qaeda, tribal warlords, and disenfranchised former Gaddafi bureaucrats had plenty of help from the U.S., Britain, and NATO in the "Arab Spring" operation to install a government amenable to the West. "Special forces troops from Britain, France, Jordan and Qatar on the ground in Libya have stepped up operations in Tripoli and other cities in recent days to help rebel forces as they conducted their final advance on the Gaddafi regime," a NATO official told CNN today. British forces, in particular, have assisted rebel units by "helping them get better organized to conduct operations," the official said. Some of these forces from all the countries have traveled with rebel units from towns across Libya as they advanced on Tripoli. The official declined to be identified due to the sensitive nature of the intelligence information. Overall, the Special Forces have helped rebels "improve their tactics," the official said. The forces have also provided targeting information to warplanes conducting airstrikes and conducting reconnaissance missions in Tripoli, he said. This has been especially critical in recent days in the capital, as fighters from both sides have mixed together in close range. The forces have also assisted rebels in communications as they conducted the assault on the capital. Qatari and French forces also have provided some armaments, the official said.
Libya revolt helped stop Italy bank collapse
Trade in shares of Italy's largest bank has been suspended - as it emerges that events in Libya have helped prevent a collapse of the Italian banking system. According to documents uncovered by Global Witness, the Libyan Investment Authority's biggest investment was in Italian bank Unicredit. The choice is not accidental - Italy was Libya's colonial parent, the legacy of which is extensive financial and political connections. Through three of its sovereign wealth funds - the LIA (the most above-board), the Central Bank of Libya and the Libya Foreign Bank (these two were able to invest slightly more secretively) - the regime amassed some 1.4 billion shares in UniCredit. The Libyan sovereign funds brought their investment in the Italian bank to their current level in early 2010. Italian banks saw a selling wave earlier this month - but Libya's stake was frozen. Then the second wave of the financial crisis struck, just as the Libyan investments were frozen throughout Europe, preventing Tripoli's investment officers from pulling out their cash. In February, the combined stake was worth 2.8bn euros. Today, it is worth a mere 1.2bn euros. That is a collapse of almost 60% - and the fall is sharper still if you go back to early 2010, when the investments reached their current volume. Had the Libyan assets not been frozen, one suspects the Gaddafi family might have sold their Unicredit investment, whether because of the bank's deep troubles or because of their need to free up resources for their fight against rebels.
NATO plans to arm Syria gangs
Recently Iran's Press TV reported that The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Turkey are preparing the ground for military intervention in Syria especially through providing criminal Syrian armed gangs with weaponry. Large caches of weapons including anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles, mortar bombs and heavy machine guns will be sent via ground to major Syrian cities witnessing unrest, according to a report by Debka. Turkey's military will protect the arms caches on their passage to Syrian rebels. Syrian rebels have been receiving training inside Turkey to use the weapons for two weeks. Turkey has warned that it will join any possible military action against neighboring Syria. Earlier, Ankara recalled its retired officers to be deployed to cities along the border with Syria. Ankara is a NATO member seeking an EU membership.
New strategic US-Afghanistan deal plans to station US troops till 2024
Afghan and US officials are making efforts to cut the strategic partnership deal ahead of the Bonn conference, the Daily Telegraph reported.The Daily Telegraph newspaper writes that Kabul and Washington have reached a consensus that American Special Forces will remain in Afghanistan at least until 2024.An article published in the Daily Telegraph newspaper described Karzai's government as corrupt and lacking credibility.President Karzai has come to know that after the withdrawal of international troops from Afghanistan, Afghan security forces wouldn't be able to maintain peace and ensure security, the article said. While officials in Kabul said that talks on US-Afghan strategic deal is still in progress, the article writes that Kabul and Washington are pushing to ink the deal ahead of Bonn Conference."Both sides have made their suggestions and still talks are on the level of a committee which has been assigned by the government under the lead of Afghanistan Security Council and foreign ministry," Mr Hakim Hasher said. After the Afghan government called for support of the United States for a stronger and equipped army, Washington laid out the initiative for formation of permanent military bases in Afghanistan and said it would prevent insurgents from returning back to the country.
Is the Pakistani army planning to intervene in Karachi?
Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani landed in Karachi on Thursday morning, DawnNews reported. The army chief would be given a detailed briefing on the situation of the city, sources said. General Kayani had hinted that the army could provide its services to the government in restoring peace in the port city. Analysts were giving importance to General Kayani's visit amidst continuing violence in the city. Lately, voices have been growing for Kayani to intervene in the city and stop the bloodshed that has claimed over 300 lives in a matter weeks.
Battered and bruised Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani struggled to gain the confidence of the nation, in the aftermath of America's raid on Abbottabad. Even the loyal army officers and the dependable cadres, once the spine of Kayani's support base, openly challenged his version of events. In particular, many officers were not only perplexed, but less than convinced by the inability of the armed forces to detect and respond to the penetration of Pakistani airspace by hostile enemy helicopters.
The episode also emboldened Pakistan's arch enemy and rival India, to the extent that her military chiefs publicly boasted about India's capacity to conduct a similar operation: Army Chief Gen VK Singh said," I would like to say only this that if such a chance comes, then all the three arms (of the military) are competent to do this..." and India's Air Chief Marshal P V Naik blurted," India can do it." This deep seated enmity towards Pakistan expressed by Singh and Naik is not limited to the Indian armed forces. Rather, the hostility is rampant amongst Indian politicians, intellectuals, columnists etc. Yet, despite this wellspring of animosity, Kayani and his blundering puppet government continue to extend olive branches of peace to New Delhi.
Nevertheless, the disgraced Kayani and his entourage of misfits that includes the liberal elite, the paid media pundits and the nationalistic officers, chose to overlook Indian animosity and American antagonism towards Pakistan and instead decided to join forces to construct a patriotic narrative to compensate for Kayani's monumental failures. The deceptive narrative advocated by the media mercenaries, the pseudo intelligentsia and the cranky nationalists does not focus on declaring India and America the enemy of Pakistan but instead purports that the army is the only institution that can prevent Pakistan's collapse.
Upon a cursory examination of the rationale that underpins this narrative-even by an ordinary person with a modicum of common sense- demonstrates that it is a preposterous claim, peppered with inconsistencies and contradictions. For starters, how can Kayani defend Pakistan's lopsided relationship with America? America is an avowed enemy of Pakistan and in both in word and deed continues to openly destabilize Pakistan in the tribal areas, whilst simultaneously seeks to strengthen its bilateral relations with India through nuclear deals and high-tech military contracts. How can Kayani defend the vicious indiscriminate drone strikes that have killed and maimed thousands of innocent Pakistani civilians. Perhaps the answer lies in Kayani's appetite for spilling further Muslim blood, by demanding that the number and intensity of the drone strikes should increase as disclosed recently by Wikileaks. Indeed, a long list of Kayani's crimes against Pakistan can be compiled that would be enough to hang him for treason in any court of law, except Pakistan.
What about Kayani's predecessors? Field Marshall Ayub Khan presided over the humiliating Indus Treaty, which surrendered control of Pakistan's waterways and rivers to India. General Yahya Khan lost East Pakistan (now Bangladesh), only for India to consolidate her grip over the Muslims of Bangladesh. General Zia ul Haq lost Sachin to India. General Pervez Musharraf ceded Kargil to aid Vajpayee's election victory, lost Afghanistan, abandoned the Kashmiri people, compromised Pakistan's nuclear assets and laid the foundations for unprecedented American hostility and hegemony in the region. Furthermore, the appalling state of Pakistan's political landscape over the past five decades is a direct result of the collective efforts of its military leadership. Under its auspices, politicians are bought and sold - most of them are jesters and puppets of the army; elections are routinely rigged courtesy of the ISI and the majority of political decisions usually bear the hallmarks of the military high command. Is there any aspect of political life the military does not influence or control? The same can be said about the economy. Apart from the vast business interests that have mushroomed under successive military chiefs, the military continues to consume a significant share of the fiscal budget year on year, as opposed to other institutions.
In return for complete domination of Pakistan's politics and economy has the military leadership successfully defended Pakistan's national interests? The answer is simply No! The facts listed above speak for themselves. So the deceitful mantra of ‘Pakistani army is a savior of Pakistan' is a barefaced lie. Those who spearhead such a campaign are either smitten by their western master's empty promises or are misguided transgressors, intellectually bankrupt and unable to think for themselves.
This is the true nature of the military leadership of Pakistan. A leadership that for decades felt no shame and expressed no remorse in squandering the resources of the Pakistani nation in the pursuit of serving and protecting the interests of its Kafir colonialist masters. However, Kayani's treachery has even put his predecessors' accomplishments to shame. Kayani, has actively placed the authority of the armed forces in the hands of his American masters. They decide where and when the Pakistani army should be deployed, and whom they should fight. The brutal slaughter of civilians in Swat and the tribal areas, and the subsequent displacement of millions of Pakistanis is ample proof of Kayani's surrender of authority to his American masters. Kayani has clearly transgressed the limits prescribed by Allah (SWT) in granting the authority of the armed forces to the disbelieving colonialists. Allah (SWT) says in the Quran:"... And never will Allah allow the disbelievers to have a way over the believers." (An Nisaa' 4:141)
People of Pakistan must increase their efforts to oppose at every juncture the evil alliance between Pakistan and America that Musharraf brokered in 2001 to fight Islam, but Kayani nurtured it, raised it to extraordinary levels of American subjugation that saw the release of the killer Raymond Davis, whilst the innocent Aafia Sidiqqui languished in prison. Even after the humiliation of the Abbotabad raid, the disgraceful Kayani continues to protect this evil alliance and claims that Pakistan's strategic assets are safe. His obedience to his American masters and his loyalty to the evil alliance is so firm that the cut in US aid to Pakistan has not diminished his zeal or enthusiasm. Allah (SWT) forbids Muslims from entering, supporting and remaining quite about alliances with disbelieving colonialist powers that seek destroy Islam and Muslims:"O you who believe! Take not the Jews and Christians as awliyaa' they are awliyaa' only to each other. And he among you that turns to them is of them..." (al Maai'dah 5:51) and
"Give to the hypocrites the news that for them there is a painful torment. Those who take disbelievers for awliyaa' instead of believers, do they seek i'zzah (honour, power) with them? Then verily, all the i'zzah belongs to Allah." (an Nisaa' 4:139) and
"O you who believe! Take not for awliyaa' disbelievers instead of believers. Do you wish to offer Allah a manifest proof against yourselves?" (an Nisaa' 4:144)
There are some immediate steps that can be initiated to pressurize the military leadership to cut its alliance with America.
1. Do not extend any forms of cooperation to the leadership of the armed forces in its sin of supporting America's war against Pakistan. Halt all supplies and logistics, until the army leadership relents and severs its ties with America.
2. Send messages of defiance to all the local Corp commanders that this evil alliance with America will not be tolerated. Furthermore, engage in all forms of forms of non-violent civil disobedience at all the army headquarters in the four provinces demanding an end to Pakistan's relationship with America.
3. Actively convince your sons and daughters who work for the armed forces not to participate in any activity that supports America's hegemony over Pakistan.
As for the sincere officers of the Pakistani army, We know that you are not like Kayani and his small courtier of mischief advisors. You are sincere to Islam and yearn to defend Pakistan from the enemies America and India. However, it is not enough for you to be angry in silence and continue to serve Kayani in obedience. There is no obedience to the one who seeks to plunder and destroy Pakistan, and sacrifices its brave soldiers for the interests of the Kuffar. Nawaas bin Sama'aan reported that the messenger of Allah (saw) said, "There is no obedience to the creation in disobedience to the Creator." (BAGHAWI in ‘Sharhus Sunnah' [10/44] AHMAD, AL HAAKIM) and A'li reported that messenger of Allah (saw) said, "...There is no obedience in disobedience to Allah. Obedience is in Ma'roof." (MUSLIM kitaabul Imaarah [no.4536], BUKHAARI [Eng vers. Vol. 9 no.259]) .
Below are a couple of actions you can immediately take to show your obedience to Allah (SWT) and your disobedience to Kayani.
1. You most actively oppose your superior officers who support Kayani and are committed to America's subjugation of Pakistan.
2. You must work tirelessly, to stop Kayani from using the Pakistani armed forces to execute America's crusade in Afghanistan and Pakistan. This means you must refuse to execute orders, operate military equipment, fly planes etc. that involve the killing of Muslims or aiding American forces to gain domination over Pakistan.
In the long-term, there is only one solution to domination of America over your affairs and the control of your armed forces. You must join hands with your brothers in the army to re-establish the Kilafah Rashwdah which will bring an end to the American hegemony, and return dignity to the people of Pakistan.

On 18th of August Pakistan Army announced the end of military operation in Kurram Agency of the Tribal region, formally known as FATA. The Chief of the Army Staff, Gen. Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, visited the area to participate in a photo-shoot organized for the media. Shamelessly smiling, amidst his comrades, he is a general who conquered his own people for the sake of the enemy!
Kurram operation was unique in a way that the agents in the Military leadership were able to keep a tight lid on the media. There was almost a blackout on print as well as the electronic media regarding the killings on both sides. Most of the Pakistanis didn't even know that there was an operation going on in the Tribal belt let alone the number of dead and displaced. Not a single picture appeared on any newspaper of the 30,000 families who were forced to evacuate and live in camps during the blessed month of Ramadhan. Not to mention there are hundreds of thousands of internally displaced from previous military operations, who have been forgotten by the government and media and are left to die in camps. During the whole length of Kurram operation Pakistan was thrown into various fake crisis such as electricity, gas, petrol and inter-party political rivalries which not only sucked the media in but the whole public attention, allowing Kayani and his corrupt kitchen-cabinet to kill and maim Muslims with artillery and aerial bombardment.
The other important development, which coincided with this act of butchery, was Zardari's signing of political activities act and FCR reforms of the tribal areas. This is the first step towards reigning in the independent tribal's by bring them under tight government control. Hence either FATA will be joined to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province or be made an independent province. All existing government laws, regulations and taxes will apply on them. This will make FATA completely under the writ of the government. This could not have been possible previously because there were no military or police presence in FATA. Now the army has established checkpoints almost in every tribal agency through military operations for the last 4- to 5 years. This is why the Gas and Oil pipelines from Central Asia to the Arabian Sea which the western multinationals companies such as Unocal dreamt of laying through this region can now be a reality. After stabilizing Afghanistan, FATA and parts of Baluchistan this energy route would be completely secure for the multinational corporations who have been greedily waiting to rape the resources of the Muslims Central Asia for the past decade. Hence, US hit two birds with one stone. By initiating a civil war in FATA America minimized the insurgency coming out of Pakistan as well as it made sure that oil pipeline routs were made secured by Pakistani Army without shedding the blood of a single American soldier. This all was made possible through the agent political and military leaders who worked diligently to secure the interests of the Americans. In this War of Terror (WoT) Pakistan has not only ruined its economy, its internal peace but has also gotten 35,000 citizens killed and that too without firing a single shot at the real enemy, the US. This is way more than what Afghanistan suffered during the last 10 years or so.
The end-game in Afghanistan is nearing and so is the game in FATA. Muslims are clear about the treachery of their rulers and are calling for change. The government is feeling the pressure and is coming after the members of Hizb ut Tahrir. But it seems the imperialists and their agents have exhausted all their tricks and now their bag is empty. The Ummah in the Arab and Non-Arab world is alive and kicking. Change is the buzz word and the day of victory is inching closer every second. The day when the Momineen will be happy for the establishment of the Kilafah and the colonialists will wish they had not lived to see the day!

يا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا كُونُوا أَنْصَارَ اللَّهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ لِلْحَوَارِيِّينَ مَنْ أَنْصَارِي إِلَى اللَّهِ قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحْنُ أَنْصَارُ اللَّهِ فَآَمَنَتْ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَكَفَرَتْ طَائِفَةٌ فَأَيَّدْنَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا عَلَى عَدُوِّهِمْ فَأَصْبَحُوا ظَاهِرِينَ
"O you who believe, be supporters of (the deen of) Allah, just as Isa, son of Maryam, said to the Disciples, "Who are my supporters towards Allah?" The Disciples said, "We are the supporters of (the deen of) Allah." So a group from the children of Isra'il believed, and another group disbelieved. Then We supported those who believed against their enemy, and they became victors" (al-Saff: 14).
Circles of death continue to surround the noble people of Syria. Not a child, elderly person or woman has been left except that the ugly hand of the regime has reached them. The revolting cities and towns of Syria continue to be hit by tanks, surrounded by soldiers and armoured vehicles in the dark of night and in broad daylight. The criminal regime in Syria - and from behind it the lying West, led by America - does not afford the homes of civilians any sanctity, nor the blood of people any weight. They continue in their serial of terror and repression, seeking to break the will of the Ummah, to bring her to her knees, and to keep her in a state of disgrace and humiliation. This is because Bashar al-Assad, and those with him in ruling, came to power on an agreement of enmity towards the people, and loyalty to America. Thus when the people have revolted, they have sought to severely punish them, and in doing so, the words of Allah have rung true with respect to this regime:
قُتِلَ أَصْحَابُ الْأُخْدُودِ (•) النَّارِ ذَاتِ الْوَقُودِ (•) إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌ (•) وَهُمْ عَلَى مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ (•) وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ
"Cursed were the People of the Trench, the (people of the) fire that was rich with fuel, when they were sitting by it, and were watching what they were doing with the believers. They punished them for nothing but that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, the Worthy of All Praise." (al-Buruj: 4-8)
We, in Hizb ut-Tahrir, whilst feeling the severe pain being inflicted on our people in Syria by this criminal regime, emphasis the following:
FIRST: We say to our beloved people in Syria, to the youth in the squares and to the fathers and mothers:
Your blessed uprising against this criminal regime is a sign of sincerity of soul and depth of iman. It is not for us to say to you after the saying of our Lord,
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا اصْبِرُوا وَصَابِرُوا وَرَابِطُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
"O you who believe, be patient, persevere, stay on guard and be conscious of Allah so that you may succeed"; except to say to you that our address to the sincere officers in the Syrian army, who are you sons and brothers, is, after the support of Allah, a means of support for you and your blessed uprising.
O youth of the uprising which called out, ‘It is for Allah! It is for Allah!', we call you to a covenant between us and you that you do not deviate this uprising from the path of Allah, and that you be with us in a strong and united call to the army for it to play the role that Allah has commanded it, by removing this criminal regime, and establishing a state of justice and security - a Khilafah "Caliphate" on the method of prophethood.
O noble revolutionaries! O leaders of organised bodies! Be conscious of Allah, and be models in taqwa, not in disobedience. Make firm in the hearts of the people the vitality of iman and its courage, and drop benefits, interests, fear, the East and the West, from your considerations, and do not weaken or compromise in demanding the establishing of the Khilafah "Caliphate", as a means to establish justice and the Shari'ah of Allah, and to carry Islam to the World. Stand with Hizb ut-Tahrir, who stood when people sat, spoke when people were silent, declared the truth when people lied; realities upon which the prisons of the tyrant, Bashar, bear witness!
O beloved people of Syria - youth in the squares, and officers and soldiers in the barracks:
As we recognise your uprising against oppression and tyranny, and appreciate your immense sacrifices aimed at returning to us justice, honour and a dignified living, and as we call on our brave army and its officers to respond to the caller of Allah and to respond to what we call them to, we, your brothers in Hizb ut-Tahrir, call you to redouble your efforts and persist until this oppressive, perishing system is destroyed along with its constitution, laws, institutions, and personalities, and to establish in its place the system of the Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" State, wherein the Ummah will appoint a Khalifah, by her will and choice, who will protect the land and the people. They will give him the oath of allegiance on that he implements the Shari'ah of Allah - which is complete and covers all aspects of life - and that they obey him so long as he obey Allah with respect to them, and they will account him on his deviations, as Umar (ra) said, "There is no good in you if you do not say it, and there is no good in us if we do not hear it". The Prophet (saw) said, "The Imam is a shield; the people fight behind him and are protected by him." So rise to honour and forgiveness and to paradise and Allah's good pleasure in this blessed month of Ramadan. Do not let the discouragement of those who discourage or the fear of the criminals, from East or West, divert you from your goal. Be as Allah, the Exalted, said,
الذِينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُوا لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَقَالُوا حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ (•) فَانْقَلَبُوا بِنِعْمَةٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَفَضْلٍ لَمْ يَمْسَسْهُمْ سُوءٌ وَاتَّبَعُوا رِضْوَانَ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَظِيمٍ
"Those to whom people said, "The people have gathered against you; so, fear them." It increased them in faith and they said, "Allah is fully sufficient for us, and the best One in whom to trust." So, they returned with bounty from Allah, and grace, with no evil having even touched them, and submitted to the pleasure of Allah. Allah is the Lord of great bounty." (Aal-Imran: 172-173)
O Muslims of al-Sham, the heart of the lands of Islam:
Be conscious of Allah, and know your enemy from your friend. Know that the West, led by America, France and England, is your real enemy and the cause of what inflicts you of calamities and disasters, for they are the ones behind all the dictatorial regimes, who make your lives harder and harder, who insult your deen and beliefs, who support your enemies, ‘Israel' and others, against you, who prevent the commands of Allah and His Messenger (saw) and the Qur'an under the pretext of fighting terrorism. So long as you look towards the West for support, you will not rid yourselves of these calamities.
O Muslims of al-Sham, the heart of the lands of Islam:
Know that all your problems will not end except with the State of Islam, and that your honour, blood and wealth will not be protected except under the shade of the Khilafah "Caliphate". Know that your honour, and the pleasure of your Lord is not except in the State of honour, the Khilafah "Caliphate" state, so work for it and you will be, by the leave of your Lord, of the successful.
SECOND: We say to our brothers and fathers, the officers and soldiers in the barracks:
The intelligent minds and sincere hearts are all asking: is it not time for the night to become day? Is it not time for the chains to break? Is it not time for the sincere officers of the army to fulfill their oath of protecting their people and their honour by grabbing the hand of the oppressor and preventing his crimes? The Messenger of Allh (saw) said: "By the one in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, you must enjoin the good, forbid the evil, grab the hand of the oppressor and restrict him to the truth, or Allah will strike your hearts against one another, and you will then by cursed as they are cursed."
O noble officers and soldiers: the Ummah has risen, with her young and old, to liberate herself and you from these rulers - agents who have brought you to the humiliating situation which you find yourself in. Yesterday your brothers were being slaughtered, bombed and besieged in Gaza, Lebanon and Iraq, whilst you were not allowed to go to their aid. Instead, enemy planes were flying over your heads, bombing as they pleased and leaving, and your weapons were of no use. Is it not this regime that has shackled, subjugated and disgraced you?!
The submissiveness of the Muslim armies tired them / leading them to the shades of darkness, scattered
Becoming hostage to the arrogant oppressor / who strove with them towards corruption and destruction
We in Hizb ut Tahrir- having taken upon ourselves the responsibility of returning Islam to practical implementation in life through the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" state - understand the suffering of the army, just as we understand the suffering of the people, and we, in calling upon our army and officers today, understand that the blood of honour boils in your veins. We understand also, given that you are true sons of this Ummah, that the Zionist enemy has not broken your resolve, nor do you fear it, to the extent that this criminal, foul regime has done so. This regime has disgraced and humiliated you and distanced you from your responsibilities. It has distanced you away from the liberation of the Golan, an obligation on you from your Lord, and has directed you to the killing of your brothers in al-Sham, a matter forbidden on you. Thus, to an elevated status do we call you, to a profitable trade do we direct you, and to the observance of the saying of Allah, the Exalted, do we guide you:
يا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى تِجَارَةٍ تُنْجِيكُمْ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ (•) تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنْفُسِكُمْ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ (•) يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَيُدْخِلْكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ وَمَسَاكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِي جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ
"O you who believe, shall I tell you about a trade that saves you from a painful punishment? That you believe in Allah and His Messenger, and carry out Jihad in His way with your wealth and your lives. That is much better for you, if you but know. (If you do this,) He will forgive your sins, and will admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow, and to pleasant dwellings in gardens of eternity. That is the great achievement!" (al Saff: 10-12)
O noble officers and soldiers: this matter is your matter, and the time is yours, so fulfill your responsibility for the sake of Allah, you will be successful. You are in the blessed month of Ramadan, the month of victories, so let the breaking of your fast be with your giving victory to (the deen of) Allah. So take heed for the sake of Allah, and for the sake of your Ummah who has preceded you in sacrifice, and who will be the best support for you if you are sincere towards her and towards your Lord. Allah, the Exalted, says,
إِنْ يَنْصُرْكُمُ اللَّهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمْ وَإِنْ يَخْذُلْكُمْ فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَنْصُرُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
"If Allah helps you, there is none to overcome you. And if He abandons you, then, who is there to help you after that? In Allah the believers should place their trust." (Aal-Imran: 160)
O noble officers and soldiers: beware! Beware of betraying your Ummah and your trusts by directing your tanks and guns towards the chests of your own people - your young men and women, your children, your mothers and fathers. Beware of putting your support with a falling regime, which does not have but a phantom presence on the streets and ‘alerts' on its deceitful media. Beware of meeting your Lord with the blood of the Muslims on your necks! Beware of losing your hereafter for the worldly life of somebody else! Rather, work for the victory of your Ummah and yourselves, by taking power away from the gang which has committed crimes against you, your Ummah, your Lord and your deen, and making it a means of supporting the deen of Allah by establishing the rule of Allah on the Earth - a Khilafah "Caliphate" Rashidah upon the method of prophethood. In doing so, if you are victorious, you will rejoice and so will the believers, and if you are martyred, then how excellent will be your position! Allah, the Exalted, says,
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ (•) فَرِحِينَ بِمَا آَتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُوا بِهِمْ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلَّا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
"Never take those killed in the way of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, well-provided, happy with what Allah has given them of His grace; and they feel pleased with the good news, about those left behind them who could not join them, that there shall be no fear for them nor shall they grieve." (Aal-Imran: 169-170)
THIRD: We remind the scholars and the imams of the masajid, whilst we are in the month of fasting, to be conscious of Allah and not to hide the truth whilst they know it. Be leaders of goodness for the Ummah, and do not make your knowledge and your leading the prayers a means of material acquisition in life, nor sell the verses of Allah for a lowly price. Know that the punishment of Jahannam is severe, and that power is for Allah, not for Bashar and his aides. Speak the truth and remain firm on it, and do not clothe the truth in falsehood, whilst you know well that the reward of good deeds are multiplied in Ramadan. So fear Allah, speak the truth, and beware of false speech and that which the state dictates to you so that you fabricate lies on the pulpits on Jumu'a!
In ending, Hizb ut-Tahrir calls you O all the people of al-Sham, with the call of truth, in order to take you out from the worship of the slaves to the worship of Allah, the Lord of the slaves, and from the tyranny of the regimes and the oppression of the rulers to the justice and light of Islam, and from the constriction of the world to the vastness of the world and the hereafter. So be sincere with Allah and work with Hizb ut-Tahrir to establish Islam, you will succeed thereby in this world and the Hereafter.
Hizb ut-Tahrir also calls you O patient believing soldiers, in the blessed month of Ramadan, the month of victories, the month of the victory in Badr on the 17th of Ramadan, that you place your trust in Allah, the Exalted, and that you make firm your resolve to change the world. The biographies of your lives will be written on pages of light if you give the nusrah to Hizb ut-Tahrir by announcing the Khilafah "Caliphate" state, for you will be the new Ansar who status Allah will raise as he raised that of the Ansar of the Messenger of Allah (saw). Allah, the Exalted, says,
وَلَيَنْصُرَنَّ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَنْصُرُهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ
"Allah will definitely help those who help Him. Surely, Allah is Powerful, Mighty." (al-Hajj: 40); and He says,
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
"O you who believe, respond to Allah and the Messenger when He calls you to what gives you life, and be sure that Allah intervenes between man and his heart, and that to Him you shall be gathered." (al-Anfal: 24)
Alhamdulillah that Allah has broken the back of the tyrant, brutal murderer and terrorizer of children and women ... Alhamdulillah that your pure blood has produced good and crushed another tyrant...
