The Members of Hizb ut Tahrir in Abbasiya Declare: Thwart America’s Plan to Separate Darfur

As part of the campaign organized by Hizb ut Tahrir/Wilayah Sudan to thwart the plan to tear Sudan apart by separating the Darfur region, and considering that the unity of the Ummah is a vital issue, regarding which life-or-death measures must be taken, the shebaab (members) of Hizb ut Tahrir in Abbasiya held a gathering on Friday, Rabi’ al-Awwal 6, 1447 AH, corresponding to August 29, 2025 CE, after the Friday prayer, at the Sheikh Yahya Masjid for Quran Memorization. They addressed a fervent appeal to Muslims of all segments, including politicians, media professionals, ulema, officers and soldiers, and others, demanding that they fulfill their Shariah obligation towards preventing the secession of Darfur.

The call was read out by Ustadh Abdul Rahim Abdullah, a member of Hizb ut Tahrir, amidst a large crowd of worshippers. Standing to his right and left were some of the shebaab of the Hizb, carrying posters calling for the rejection of secession and others calling for adherence to the rope of Allah.

The audience responded strongly to the call, praying that Allah (swt) would reward the shebaab of the Hizb and bless their efforts.
