Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani said that the partnership with the United States has contributed to enhancing security and stability locally, regionally, and internationally. This was stated during his meeting with the new commander of US Central Command (CENTCOM), Admiral Brad Cooper, in Baghdad.

A statement issued by the Iraqi Prime Minister’s Office said that during the meeting, “security and military cooperation were discussed, as well as following up on the implementation of the coalition forces withdrawal agreement signed in September 2024, which stipulates the departure of a batch of troops this month and the completion of the withdrawal by the end of next year” (Al-Sharq, 11 Rabi' al-Awwal 1447 AH, 3/9/2025 CE).

Al-Raya Newspaper: Since the US occupied Iraq in 2003 until today, it has been leading it in all its military, political, and economic aspects. These self-appointed governments began tampering with its security, and sectarian strife continued to erode its people day after day, under the watchful eyes of their forces, without them lifting a finger to stop it. Today, they are nominally withdrawing from Iraq, while in reality, they are staying politically, economically, culturally, and even militarily, under the guise of security cooperation. The people of Iraq must expel the American occupier in the most brutal manner, submit to the commands of Allah (swt), and implement His Shariah Law under His state: the Second Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood.
