Iran's Revolutionary Guards have warned that they will completely shut the strategic Strait of Hormuz if U.S. President Trump follows through on his threats to target Iranian energy facilities. This comes after Trump threatened to "obliterate" Iran's power plants if Tehran doesn't fully reopen the Strait within 48 hours. The Strait of Hormuz is a critical waterway for global oil shipments, and any disruption could have far-reaching economic and geopolitical consequences. Iran has already effectively closed the strait, claiming safe passage for vessels from trading partners.
The Strait of Hormuz closure has had an enormous impact on global oil prices. The U.S. average for a gallon of regular gasoline jumped to $3.94, up from $2.98, which consumers were paying before the U.S. and the Zionist entity launched their war with joint attacks against Iran on February 28.
What is evident is that a single economic choke point is causing a huge ripple effect that the U.S. economy is not able to withstand for a long duration without causing a major economic meltdown. Now imagine the impact the Muslim Ummah could have as a single entity. Imagine the closure of the Suez Canal, Bab Al-Mandab Strait, and the Bosphorus Straits. Imagine the halting of the Ummah's oil exports to the U.S. and the Zionist entity altogether. Imagine the disruption of U.S. vessels within our waters and on our lands. The potential for economic victories is guaranteed. Furthermore, imagine Iran, Pakistan or Turkey uniting, breaking the nationalist borders, syncing their economies, disconnecting from the petrodollar and strategically coordinating their political and military might to counter US hegemony. The only thing required is the political will and a Khilafah (Caliphate) State that taps into our collective strength and strategic location. This vision ensures our liberation rather than our continued humiliation and subjugation.
It is high time that the Ummah awakens to two facts: one, our potential for political and economic greatness, and two, the United States' obvious weakness both militarily and economically. The moment is now to exploit this obvious vulnerability and get behind our project for Khilafah and rise to glory almost immediately by the will of Allah (swt).
