We Have No Life Without Allah's Shariah
We Are Dead Without It in Our Lives
(Translated)

Allah (swt) says: [وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ]“I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me” [Adh-Dhariyat: 56]. That is, none but He is to be worshipped in this life, and all authority belongs to Him alone. He (swt) says: [هُوَ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ الْأَرْضِ وَاسْتَعْمَرَكُمْ فِيهَا] “He ˹is the One Who˺ produced you from the earth and settled you on it.” [Hud: 61].

He created this life to be inhabited and for man to be His successor, establishing His rule over it [وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً [“˹Remember˺ when your Lord said to the angels, “I am going to place a successive ˹human˺ authority on earth.”” [Al-Baqarah: 30].

Indeed, there are numerous verses in which Allah (swt) states that humankind is His successor on Earth, thus emphasizing that it is a trust that humankind must safeguard and protect. And in order for life to be good, one must live it mindful of its transience and that death is its end, striving to attain the pleasure of one's Lord,

He is the One˺ Who created death and life in order to test which of you is best in deeds” [Al-Mulk: 2].

If a person truly sees and understands that Allah is his Creator and that all power belongs to Him, he will not hesitate to strive to gain His pleasure and will work diligently to emerge from darkness into light.  Allah (swt) says,

“Can those who had been dead, to whom We gave life and a light with which they can walk among people, be compared to those in complete darkness from which they can never emerge? That is how the misdeeds of the disbelievers have been made appealing to them” [Al-An’am: 122].

Turning away from obedience to Allah, being ignorant of His Oneness, and failing to implement His law is "death." Whoever lives without seeking what benefits them, protecting themselves from all harm, and turning away from all that angers their Creator is undoubtedly dead, for they have not been guided to the light of Islam, which distinguishes between truth and falsehood. This light reveals to a person what harms and benefits them and works to liberate him from all that incurs Allah's wrath and punishment.

A person cannot be considered truly alive unless they resolve their fundamental question in a way that aligns with their innate nature, satisfies their intellect, and brings them peace of mind. The search for the Creator of this universe and life, and the One who created humankind, is among the most important subjects for humanity to delve into and find satisfactory answers upon which to build their understanding and live by. This is the fundamental principle that will guide all their actions and inclinations.

Belief in Allah and following the path He has ordained for His servants is the only thing that illuminates the darkness that has enveloped their lives. It is the only thing that enables people to see the truth and realize that Allah is their Creator, Fashioner, and Provider, and that all matters are in His hands. This is after they were ignorant, unable to grasp the true meaning of their lives, not knowing where they were going or how to proceed. Without belief, life is utter darkness, and the path is unclear.

Belief is the definite conviction that must be manifested in every commitment a believer makes, and it must be enveloped in sincerity towards Allah so that all their actions are purely for His sake, seeking nothing but His reward and pleasure. This is the radiant light that dispels darkness and helps a person overcome all obstacles with patience and perseverance, thereby attaining the greatest possible reward.

Allah (swt) has confirmed that:

[وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكًا وَنَحْشُرُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَعْمَىٰ]

“But whoever turns away from My Reminder will certainly have a miserable life, then We will raise them up blind on the Day of Judgment.”” [Ta-Ha: 124]. Therefore, the life He created will not be upright or good except under His divine laws, which He established to govern it.

The reality of humanity today—having returned to the darkness of ignorance under the capitalist system and its rotten secularism—is a bitter reality in which people complain of hardship and fear. After Allah's law was removed, the Islamic state was demolished, and security, tranquility, justice, and mercy were lost, change became urgent, necessary, and indispensable for a qualitative leap forward for humanity, for the realization of true Islamic law, and for living under the Creator's rulings, which will bring humanity out of darkness into light.

Allah (swt) chose His Prophet to deliver His message, which he (saw) entrusted to his Ummah, whom He (swt) chose to be the bearers of the final and eternal message, and to be the nation that bears witness to other nations and undertakes the great task in light of this dark reality that humanity is living in today. It must restore the system of the Lord of the Worlds back to life and spread His rulings among the people.

One of the noblest and greatest deeds today is reviving the Deen and restoring it to our lives, and resuming the Islamic way of life under the second Khilafah Rashida (Rightly-Guided Caliphate that Allah promised His servants.

“Allah has promised those of you who believe and do good that He will certainly make them successors in the land, as He did with those before them; and will surely establish for them their faith which He has chosen for them; and will indeed change their fear into security—˹provided that˺ they worship Me, associating nothing with Me. But whoever disbelieves after this ˹promise˺, it is they who will be the rebellious” [An-Nur: 55]. And His noble Messenger (saw) gave its glad tidings: «تَكُونُ النُّبُوَّةُ فِيكُمْ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ، ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا، ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةٌ عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ فَتَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ، ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا، ثُمَّ تَكُونُ مُلْكًا عَاضًّا فَيَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ، ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا، ثُمَّ تَكُونُ مُلْكًا جَبْرِيَّةً فَتَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ، ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا، ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةً عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ. ثُمَّ سَكَتَ».“There will be Prophethood for as long as Allah wills it to be, then He will remove it when He wills, then there will be Khilafah on the Prophetic method and it will be for as long as Allah wills, then He will remove it when He wills, then there will be biting rule (ملكًا عاضًا) for as long as Allah Wills, then He will remove it when He wills, then there will be oppressive rule (ملكًا جبرية) for as long as Allah wills, then he will remove it when He wills, and then there will be Khilafah upon the Prophetic method.’ Then he (saw) was silent.

It is a great mission that demands wisdom, political awareness, and sincerity. Therefore, whoever carries this blessed call must possess wisdom, which is the quest of the believer, and not follow his desires lest he stray from the path. He must seek guidance from his Lord's law through prayer and reliance upon Him.

The bearer of this call must fear Allah as if he sees Him and seeks His support, guidance, success, and pleasure. Furthermore, he must thoroughly investigate his current situation, searching for solutions within Allah's laws and work to establish a state that will implement these laws.

He must be a politically astute leader, aware of the enemies' conspiracies and schemes aimed at attacking Islam and its followers. He must spread awareness within the Ummah, as he is the guardian of its intellect and conscience, revealing the plots hatched against its Deen, clarifying the path to salvation, and raising its spirits to prevent its decline, defeat, and surrender.

Sincerity with Allah and carrying His call with sincerity requires patience, good commitment, courage, reliance on Allah (swt), contentment and submission to His command and His decree. It is also manifested in a pure and sincere intention entirely for Allah. On the authority of Sahl bin Hunayf, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet (saw) said: «مَنْ سَأَلَ اللَّهَ الشَّهَادَةَ بِصِدْقٍ بَلَّغَهُ اللَّهُ مَنَازِلَ الشُّهَدَاءِ وَإِنْ مَاتَ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ»“Whoever sincerely asks Allah for martyrdom, Allah will grant him the ranks of the martyrs, even if he dies in his bed.”

How many Dawah carriers worked and dedicated their life to this cause, offering everything precious and valuable, only to pass away without witnessing the establishment of the Islamic state and the implementation of Allah's law in it? Yet, we consider him, in the sight of Allah, among those who were true to their covenant with Him.

“Among the believers are men who have proven true to what they pledged to Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their pledge ˹with their lives˺, others are waiting ˹their turn˺. They have never changed ˹their commitment˺ in the least” [Al-Ahzab: 23].

The love of Allah and His Messenger instills in the Muslim mental and psychological readiness that drives him to sacrifice with courage and steadfastness. He is mindful of the reward of the Hereafter and casts aside the world and its fleeting pleasures and possessions. The fear of Allah never leaves him, in secret and in the open, accompanying him in times of hardship and ease, just as the noble Companions were with their beloved Prophet at the beginning of his mission. On the authority of Abu al-Walid Ubadah ibn al-Samit, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: «بَايَعْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَى السَّمْعِ وَالطَّاعَةِ؛ فِي الْعُسْرِ وَالْيُسْرِ، وَالْمَنْشَطِ وَالْمَكْرَهِ، وَعَلَى أَثَرَةٍ عَلَيْنَا، وَعَلَى أَنْ لَا نُنَازِعَ الْأَمْرَ أَهْلَهُ، وَعَلَى أَنْ نَقُولَ بِالْحَقِّ أَيْنَمَا كُنَّا لَا نَخَافُ فِي اللَّهِ لَوْمَةَ لَائِمٍ»“We pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (saw) to listen and obey.” In times of hardship and ease, in times of joy and sorrow, even when others are given preference over us, and that we do not dispute authority with those entitled to it, and that we speak the truth wherever we are, fearing no blame in the cause of Allah.”

He accustoms himself to confronting difficulties and obstacles, hoping for Allah's favour and seeking His pleasure, and striving to ensure the success of his Lord's call and its spread to the east and west of the earth.

“˹That is His way with˺ those ˹prophets˺ who deliver the messages of Allah, and consider Him, and none but Allah. And sufficient is Allah as a ˹vigilant˺ Reckoner” [Al-Ahzab: 39].

The bearer of this blessed call must prioritize his affairs and make the love of Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw)and the implementation of His law in life the highest of his concerns, so that it is at the forefront of his actions, for it is a great obligation and a duty from Allah (swt). All other actions revolve around it, and they are corrected by it, and on its basis, he arranges his affairs. He recites the words of Allah and memorizes them, but first he must adhere to what is contained in them of rulings. He helps the needy and the poor, but before that he strives to establish the state that sponsors them and distributes the zakat funds to them. He seeks out the most assured and then the most certain. He arranges his priorities and works to implement them in order of importance.

In all circumstances, no matter how they change or shift (whether difficult or easy), and in all stages of life (youth or old age), the Dawah carrier must give it its due and work for it always, without faltering or hesitating to exert his utmost effort in it, for it is a necessary need for the Ummah and for humanity in general, and life cannot be set right except under its shade. Allah, our Lord, will not be pleased except when His law and His rule return to life, so that He may rectify it and illuminate it with the light of Islam and its justice.

“And ˹remember˺ when your Lord brought forth from the loins of the children of Adam their descendants and had them testify regarding themselves. ˹Allah asked,˺ “Am I not your Lord?” They replied, “Yes, You are! We testify.” ˹He cautioned,˺ “Now you have no right to say on Judgment Day, ‘We were not aware of this.’” [Al-A’raf: 172].

Blessed are those whose greatest concern in this world is working to re-establish Allah's rule and Shariah on earth, and who dedicate their intentions solely to Allah, accepting no other laws to govern life.

O Allah, include us among those who strive to resume the Islamic way of life, those who are sincere to You, Your Messenger, and Your Deen, and gather us with the Prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous. Allahuma Ameen.
