Will Mubashir Ahmad Become Another Victim of the Uzbek Regime?
(Translated)

On August 19 of this year, the trial began in the criminal case against Alisher Tursunov, known by his pseudonym Mubashir Ahmad. He is accused of publishing materials that promote religiously extremist and dogmatically fanatical ideas through the media. He was previously accused of preparing, storing, or distributing religious materials illegally, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs placed him on the international wanted list! Turkey extradited Mubashir Ahmad to Uzbekistan at its request in May of this year.

Mubashir Ahmad’s Azon Global website began its activities in November 2023 in four languages: Uzbek, Russian, English, and Turkish. It provides materials about Islam and Muslims and world news, among which active emphasis is placed on the crimes committed by the cursed Jewish entity in the blessed Palestine, as well as the brutal repressive policy pursued by China against Uyghur Muslims. It seems that the activity of this portal does not correspond to the categorical directions set by the Uzbek regime regarding Islamic content. However, it is particularly necessary to emphasize that the website portal in reality does not conduct hostile activity against the Uzbek regime. In addition, it operates entirely outside Uzbekistan, i.e., in an area where its laws do not apply. Certainly, it is not new that the Uzbek regime crushes its own invented laws and punishes anyone it dislikes.

We ask Allah for our Brother Mubashir Ahmad that He releases him and hastens his deliverance from the hands of the oppressive regime.

Abu Huraira reported: Allah's Messenger (saw) said:

«الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ لَا يَظْلِمُهُ وَلَا يَخْذُلُهُ وَلَا يَحْقِرُهُ» “A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim. He neither wrongs him nor does hand him over (to one who does him wrong) nor does he despise him.” [Sahih Muslim]

The work of Mubashir Ahmad can be considered as a signal to all activists in our country and abroad. That is, the goal is to show that punishment is inevitable even if someone deviates slightly from the non-Islamic political direction set by the Uzbek regime, or even commits minor mistakes or shortcomings!

But we believe that all activists in our country and abroad must learn from the case of Mubashir Ahmad, because this regime implements the demands of the colonial states such as Russia, America, and China in fighting Islam and Muslims without delay. For this reason, it will continue to impose ban after ban on you until every particle of your religion is destroyed.

It is time to stop surrendering to the Uzbek regime and the evil states behind it, and to work sincerely for the fundamental interests of Islam and Muslims, seeking only the pleasure of Allah.
