Another Chapter in the Chapters of Submission to American Hegemony

Tunisia’s preparation to host the new edition of the multilateral naval exercise, Phoenix Express 2025, during the current month of November comes, and this is the exercise that the United States Africa Command has begun to organize annually after the authority currently in Tunisia implicated our country by signing with the United States, on 30/09/2020, a military cooperation agreement, which the U.S. Secretary of Defense Mark Esper expressed as a roadmap that continues for ten years.

This agreement, which represents one of the steps of the practical implementation of the agreement signed by the authority of Beji Caid Essebsi and which provides for accepting Tunisia’s status as a strategic ally of America outside the NATO alliance, is in order to support its policy in confronting “our strategic competitors China and Russia” for their “bad” conduct according to the expression of the U.S. Secretary of Defense.

In this regard, we remind that we in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia made clear at the time of signing this dangerous agreement that the matter goes beyond conventional agreements, for America is drawing up a huge project that requires ten full years to complete, and that the roadmap according to America’s claim concerns border surveillance and protection of ports, fighting extremist ideology, and confronting Russia and China, and this means, with all impudence, a diminution of Tunisia’s sovereignty and indeed is direct tutelage over our country.

We also called on every occasion to end this military presence on our lands, which gives the enemy practical experience of great importance whose results will be reflected on the lives, blood, and honor of Muslims. And we affirmed on every occasion the sanctity of cooperating with the enemy in times of war, especially after October 7, 2023, where America revealed its enmity and devaluation of the blood of Muslims from Gaza and the West Bank to Lebanon and Iran and Yemen and Syria, indeed it betrayed its godfather Qatar and likewise Hamas, and openly declared its support for the Jewish entity in every place of the lands of the Muslims that its treacherous hand reaches.

Accordingly, we, Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Tunisia, despite the annoyances, arrests, and military trials to which our members are exposed because of our speaking the word of truth, once again confirm our call to annul this infamous colonial agreement by which the country and the entire Maghreb are intended to be dragged and subordinated to the malicious American policies, and we repeat our call to the people of strength and might in our country and in all the lands of the Muslims to beware of what the enemies of the Ummah plot against them and lure them into, and that the Shari’ duty requires of them to support their Deen and repel the enemy lurking at their country and their Ummah, and to elevate the word of Allah by supporting those who work to implement His Shariah and establish His state — the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) state on the method of the Prophethood, promised soon, by Allah’s permission.

[وَلَيَنْصُرَنَّ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَنْصُرُهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ]

“And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.” [Al-Hajj:40]
