Security Forces in the City of El- Obeid Arrested Four Members of Hizb ut Tahrir
(Translated)

Following a stand held by members of Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Sudan, at the Grand Mosque in El Obeid, addressed by Al-Nadhir Muhammad Hussein, a member of Hizb ut Tahrir, after Friday prayers on 27 Rajab 1447 AH corresponding to 16 January 2026 CE, commemorating the 105^th lunar anniversary of the destruction of the Khilafah (Caliphate) on 28 Rajab 1342 AH; and after the gathering dispersed, security forces arrested four members of Hizb ut Tahrir: Al-Nadhir Muhammad Hussein, Amin Abdul Karim, Abdul Aziz Ibrahim, and Ahmed Musa. They have not been released as of the writing of this statement!!

The security apparatus has resumed its suppression of the dawah carriers of Islam from the members of Hizb ut Tahrir, who are fulfilling a Shari’ duty neglected by many people. Perhaps they intend to curry favor with Trump, who, in Zurich, agreed with Burhan to fight Islam under the guise of fighting terrorism! Otherwise, how can one explain the arrest of the Shabab who remind their people of the obligation to work towards establishing the Khilafah, the state of the Muslims, whose foundations were laid by the beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw).

This action by the oppressive authority and its security apparatus is considered an obstruction of the path of Allah Almighty who says:

[الَّذِينَ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى الآخِرَةِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا أُوْلَـئِكَ فِي ضَلاَلٍ بَعِيدٍ]

“˹They are˺ the ones who favour the life of this world over the Hereafter and hinder ˹others˺ from the Way of Allah, striving to make it ˹appear˺ crooked. It is they who have gone far astray.” [TMQ Ibrahim 14:3].

Let the regime know that arrests and attempts to suppress the call for the establishment of the Khilafah will not prevent Hizb ut Tahrir from fulfilling its Shari’ duty, nor will it be deterred as long as a single drop of life remains in its members. So return to your senses and abandon your misguided ways, and release the members of Hizb ut Tahrir. Indeed, the conscience of the sincere among you will not be cleared except by giving nusrah (support) to Hizb ut Tahrir so that it may establish the Khilafah, according to the methodology of the Prophethood, to implement Islam, and spread it to the world. Otherwise, those who have wronged will soon know what a terrible fate awaits them!
