In remembrance of the victory of Badr on 17 Ramadan, Hizb ut-Tahrir organised seminars in Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar under the title of "Ramadan - Month of Dominance of Islam". Collectively hundreds of peoples from the masses attended these seminars from the city and around. UK Minister and MP for Poplar and Canning Town Jim Fitzpatrick has condemned the Islamic tradition of separating men and women at weddings.
