News Right Now: Fleeting Pause

A ceasefire agreement between the Zionist entity and the leaders of Hamas has been underway since Sunday. As part of a three phase plan, hostages from both sides will be released to the other, with the Jewish entity withdrawing troops from Gaza, and aid trucks being sent in droves to help Palestinians suffering from the brutal genocide carried out by this entity. On Sunday, three female captives were released by Hamas while “Israel” released about 95 Palestinian prisoners after a three hour delay by Benjamin Netanyahu who insisted they would not be released until a complete list of hostages was published by Hamas.

Subhanallah, the sight of Iman, tawakkul, and bravery for the sake of Allah (swt) by our brothers and sisters in Gaza is one that clenches the hearts of all believers around the world. It is a sight that fills our Ummah with awe and with anger against the enemy, and with this ceasefire deal, the eyes of our Ummah water as we behold the undeniable spirit of resistance and sacrifice shown by Gaza. We congratulate our brothers and sisters of Gaza for the humiliation of the venomous serpent that is the Zionist entity. With unwavering faith in Allah (swt) and HIS Messenger (saw), they struck with the precision of stones and the might of righteousness, forcing the corrupt beast to choke on its own lethal strength, a strength propped up by the imperialist hands of the U.S. Gaza has proven that even the longest, most venomous serpent is no match for the unshakable resolve of jihad fee sabeelillah.

It is with this victory and relief that the ceasefire brings that should reinforce our understanding of just how weak the Zionist entity is. We know that Palestine is still occupied, and that this murderous entity has a goal to eradicate the Muslims of Palestine through genocide, but we also must realize how little effort a real military would require to liberate and defeat it once and for all. The barracks of our Muslim Ummah are equipped with the Iman and weaponry necessary to topple this inherently weak regime, which faces internal conflict and political unrest within its people and its government.

This ceasefire proves that no matter what amount of bombs, missiles, technology, and drones are aimed at this Ummah, the Ummah will prevail in the end because we have Allah (swt) on our side. Imagine, with the strength and resources of a single army, the extent of damage that could be done to Allah (swt) enemy for HIS sake to liberate the land of Al-Aqssa once and for all? This, my brothers and sisters, is what real victory is; complete and total conquest of the land of Palestine in its entirety. And we must not stop striving for this until we attain what the great army of Salahuddin did and even more.

Allah (swt) gives us confidence in this destiny for our Ummah, saying in [Surah As-Saffat, verses 171 through 173]:

[وَلَقَدْ ‌سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا الْمُرْسَلِينَ * إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ الْمَنْصُورُونَ * وَإِنَّ جُنْدَنَا لَهُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ]

“Our Word has already gone forth to Our servants, the messengers, that they would surely be helped, and that Our forces will certainly prevail”

We witness the Muslim countries giving empty words of congratulations and solidarity for our brothers and sisters of Gaza in light of this ceasefire. It is important we do not stop holding them accountable for merely spectating this genocide, massacre after massacre, for over 400 days straight, from the comfort of their lavish homes. To the armies of these countries, we ask in exasperation, what exactly will it take for you to move forth? How much more blood do you need to see? How many more children, toddlers, and infants need to die in front of your eyes for you to realize that a single decision to stand by Allah (swt) and HIS Messenger (saw) could relieve our brothers and sisters suffering once and for all? We remind you of what Allah (swt) has sent down in [Surah At-Tawbah, verse 38 and 39]:

[يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَا لَكُمْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمُ ٱنفِرُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱثَّاقَلْتُمْ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ أَرَضِيتُم بِٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا مِنَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ فَمَا مَتَـٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ * إِلَّا تَنفِرُوا۟ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًۭا وَيَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ وَلَا تَضُرُّوهُ شَيْـًۭٔا ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌ]

"O you who have believed, what is [the matter] with you that, when you are told to go forth in the cause of Allah, you adhere heavily to the earth? Are you satisfied with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But what is the enjoyment of worldly life compared to the Hereafter except a [very] little. If you do not go forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with another people, and you will not harm Him at all. And Allah is over all things competent"
