A corrupt system is causing the people of Egypt hardship; from having electricity, a basic need that is not being met, to the death of innocent civilians caused by the military, which were not brought to justice. Chaos and turmoil wherever they turn. The people of Egypt face high prices, looting, poverty, and oppression day to day. They are left to fend for themselves. Where are those in charge to help? Well... Abdel Fattah al-Sisi claims that “the state and the people are one and the same”, but when we look at the facts, is that even close to the truth?

When we look at Sisi’s rule we can see what he offered to his people and the Ummah of Muhammad (saw). We can see an overwhelming amount of corruption he participated in. One of which is his involvement in the ties that bring the Jewish entity and Saudi Arabia, the home of our Qibla, together, regulating their corrupted relations. A summit which was held "to discuss US efforts to achieve normalization of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel, and the Palestinian Authority's requirements in the framework of the signing of such a deal". He has taken yet another step in selling out our Ummah.

We look at the way he influences his army, whose role is to protect and defend the civilians living under the state. Whose role is to provide safety and defend people’s honor. Yet, when we take a look at the role the army plays in Egypt, we come to find that those needs are not met. Instead, they are mere pons used in his game to further fulfill the plan of the regime. We see that the military has expanded its empire and incorporates state owned industries, which include petrol stations, mineral water, car making, fish farming, and olives. The military also has other privileges given by the state, such as tax breaks. These privileges are not for the normal civilian in Egypt.

The military also has been used to silence the civilians, in cruel and unjust ways. We can see this in the new document that was leaked which contained 766 pages, in addition to 11,000 pages of appendices, attachments, and documents, indicating that the Rabaa massacre was not what it seemed to be. It involved Egyptian authorities participating in the mass killing of hundreds of protesters that took place on 14 August 2013. They had killed AT LEAST 900 innocent civilians. But when it was time for justice, what did the judge do? He did not listen to the testimonies presented by victims and eyewitnesses. Live ammunition was used but "The fact-finding committee does not doubt that it was possible to end the Rabaa rally without all this blood being spilled" The state and the people are NOT one and the same.

Elections coming up, many are considering getting Sisi out of office. Hoping that a new president will lead to new and better results. Would that be the case? When looking at the issue, we must take a look at history and see how it just is repeating itself. In the past we see that Mubarak, Morsi, Sisi, and others all applied the same agenda leading to the same results. They are just different faces in front of the same regime. The same problems of extreme poverty, disguised unemployment, political and economic chaos, outrageous wealth have never had real and sustainable solutions.

[وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْقُرَى آَمَنُوا وَاتَّقَوْا لَفَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ بَرَكَاتٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَكِنْ كَذَّبُوا فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ]

“Had the people of those societies been faithful and mindful ˹of Allah˺, We would have overwhelmed them with blessings from heaven and earth. But they disbelieved, so We seized them for what they used to commit.” [TMQ Al-Araf: 96].

Then what is it? What will bring true change and prosperity to the people of Egypt? There is only one solution. It is to go back to the way of Allah (swt) and uproot this regime from its roots; to bring back the Khilafah al Rashidah (Rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood. To bring back the system that was given by the one who created us. To bring, not only Egypt, but the whole Muslim world back to its glory and have justice served once again. To be able to grow and prosper like we did once before. It's time for us to regain our honor and have the shield, the Khilafah. That is the solution for the Ummah. No longer change the face of the regime, but to remove it, once and for all!
