Dawah around the World: Recitation & Rejection of Quran

Welcome to “Dawah around the World” – The recitation and rejection of Quran.

On the 15th of July, Hizb ut Tahrir Australia hosted an event entitled “The Qur'an: celebrated in recitation, criminalised in implementation.”

The Muslim leaders with their governments take excessive pride over the unlimited Quran copies they print- Saudi, Malaysia, Iran, Turkey etcetera, all compete with one another to obtain first place. To add, they sponsor international Quran competitions to claim they care for the holy book and go on to present recognition awards to those who strive to memorise the entire Quran! All this is in the name of internationally showcasing the efforts they make to prove their love and loyalty for the Quran.

However is this all? Is this where the loyalty to the Quran ends?

Allah SWT says – Bismillahir Rahman Nir Raheem

“And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things and as guidance and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims.”

Surah Nahl verse 89

This Quran has been revealed as a Huda –guidance- and Furqaan – criterion- for all mankind. It lays down for us its own unique political system that prevents man from legislating laws suiting their whims and desires; an economic system that can end poverty and inequality; a social system that protects the woman from the status of commodities and elevates her to such a high degree; and a global system that will end nationalism, racism and the hegemony of colonial powers.

The unfortunate fact is the Quran is criminalised! The commands, prohibitions, laws and rules have not only been undermined, but severely distorted and damaged. Laws and policies are made based upon secular capitalism whilst our Muslim Ummah are slaughtered left, right and centre – as our leaders watch on without batting an eyelid.

When sincere members of the Ummah question this bizarre reality and account those in position - THEY are criminalized.

Because sadly wanting to live in accordance to Allah’s deen a crime.

The so called Muslim governments prove their lack of care and fear when they resort to disregarding and overlooking the command of Allah SWT to rule by his rules and establish his deen upon the Earth.

Limiting the role of the Quran to the mere recitation of its words is outright rejection of the ahkam that Allah SWT has obliged us to follow. He SWT warns us, Bismillah ir rahman nir raheem

“And whoever does not rule by what Allah has revealed, they are the disbelievers”

Surah Maidah verse 44

Therefore, these same regimes who claim to love and adhere to the Quran with nothing but their pretentious actions – must take heed! Be warned by the words of Allah

“The hypocrites will be in the lowest level of the fire, and you will find no help for them”

Surah An-Nissa verse 145

Fear Allah and do not fight Allah’s call. It suffices the crimes you have committed against yourself and the rights of the country and the people.

Hizb ut Tahrir has always and will always continue to carry on with the Islamic call even if the Kuffar and hypocrites detest it! They will do so until the promise of Allah comes; a near victory and relief from him. And those who have wronged shall know their fate.
