(Translated)

We, in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan, are pleased to congratulate our people in Sudan and the entire Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha. May Allah make it return to us, with the Ummah united under the banner of Al-Uqab, the banner of the Messenger of Allah (saw), under the shade of the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood.

We congratulate you, when our country, Sudan, is still suffering under the scourge of war, which has entered its third month of its third year, despite the killing, violation of honour, looting of money, destruction of property, and displacement of the safe, until most of the country’s people have become either unwelcome refugees in neighboring countries, or destitute internally displaced persons. Drones are still striking vital facilities in cities east, west and north, and the human being in our country still has no value, there is no care or responsibility, but rather the greatest criminals are competing for power and wealth, until diseases and pains struck the country, the latest of which was cholera, which killed hundreds, even thousands, in the absence of health services and clean water. All these afflictions were supposed to be an incentive for those in power to return to their senses and repent to their Lord by implementing His law. But instead of that, they are still continuing blindly in their error, and following the misguidance of the kuffar, by applying secularism and separating the Deen from life, until they entered with them the hole of the lizard, which the Prophet (saw) warned against. On the authority of Abu Sa’eed, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet (saw) said: «لَتَتَّبِعُنَّ سَنَنَ مَنْ قَبْلَكُم شِبْراً بشبْر، وذراعاً بذراع، حتَّى لو سَلَكُوا جُحْر ضَبٍّ لَسَلَكْتُمُوهُ؛ قلنا: يا رسول الله؛ اليهودُ والنَّصارى؟ قال النَّبيُّ ﷺ: فَمَن؟!» “You will follow the wrong ways, of your predecessors so completely and literally that if they should go into the hole of a lizard, you too will go there." We said, "O Allah's Messenger (saw)! Do you mean the Jews and the Christians?" He replied, "Whom else?” (Meaning, of course, the Jews and the Christians.) [Narrated by the two Sheikhs]

How can the affliction be lifted if we do not give weight to the rulings of Shariah in our legislation and in the systems of our life?!

Unless we earnestly strive for the rule of Shariah, by bringing the pure and pristine Islam to the seat of power, by establishing the Islamic state, the second Khilafah Rashida (Rightly-Guided Caliphate), on the method of Prophethood, we will continue to suffer in this difficult life until we return to our Lord, rightly guided. Allah (swt) says:

[أَوَلَا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّهُمْ يُفْتَنُونَ فِي كُلِّ عَامٍ مَّرَّةً أَوْ مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ لَا يَتُوبُونَ وَلَا هُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ]

“Do they not see that they are tried once or twice every year? Yet they neither repent nor do they learn a lesson” [At-Tawbah: 126]
