Mourning Da’wah Carrier
Ustadth Ibrahim Ismail Arar (Abu Khalil)
[مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُ
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلاً]

“Among the believers are men who have proven true to what they pledged to Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their pledge ˹with their lives˺, others are waiting ˹their turn˺. They have never changed ˹their commitment˺ in the least.” [Al-Ahzab 33:23]

With belief in Allah's decree and with acceptance of His will, the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Jordan mourns one of its members, a dawah carrier to Islam:

Ustadth Ibrahim Ismail Arar (Abu Khalil)

He passed away on Tuesday, the 14th of Ramadan, 1447 AH, corresponding to March 3, 2026 CE, at the age of approximately ninety.

Abu Khalil had joined the ranks of the Hizb in the 1960s with its first generation. He was active in spreading the message, outspoken in upholding the truth, hospitable, and devoted to the cause and its advocates, dedicating himself to working towards the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) based on the Prophetic methodology.

We pray to Allah Almighty to forgive him, have mercy on him, and make him among those freed from Hellfire in this blessed month, and to gather him with the prophets, the righteous, the martyrs, and the virtuous in the highest heavens and what excellent companions they are! May Allah grant his family and loved ones a great reward and inspire them with patience and solace.

[إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ]

“to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return”
