Press Release
Is the Capture of El Fasher the End of the Plan, Or Are There Still More Poisoned Arrows in the Quiver?
(Translated)

Sudan has witnessed a major turning point in its war, which has been ongoing for more than two years, as the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) seized control of El Fasher, the last stronghold of the Sudanese army in the Darfur region of western Sudan. This has consolidated their control over the region. The clashes are now concentrated in the neighbouring Kordofan region.

According to UN estimates, more than 36,000 civilians, mostly women and children, have been displaced from El Fasher since last Sunday due to the fighting. They have suffered numerous violations, including killings based on identity, arson, rape of girls and women, looting, and kidnapping for ransom. Most have fled to Tawila, a town 70 kilometers away that already shelters nearly 650,000 displaced people, further exacerbating the humanitarian situation in the town, which has become the last safe haven for residents across North Darfur. The UN has warned of a humanitarian catastrophe in El Fasher following Burhan's announcement of the army's withdrawal. It stated that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have committed new atrocities there, with videos documenting their members carrying out mass executions of civilians and prisoners from the army and allied groups. The Sudanese Doctors' Network, a humanitarian organization, accused the RSF of executing patients and their companions at the only functioning hospital in El Fasher. The Sudanese government, which has established its temporary capital in Port Sudan in the far east of the country instead of Khartoum, stated that the RSF's actions amount to genocide, claiming they have killed approximately 2,000 civilians since seizing control of El Fasher city. Those attempting to flee the city have also faced abuses, including rape, looting, and kidnapping for ransom. The UNICEF Executive Director stated that nearly 130,000 children in El Fasher, who have been trapped for over 500 days, are at risk of grave violations, including murder, maiming, abduction, and sexual violence. She emphasized in a statement that no child is safe there, given the shortages of food, water, and medicine, and the deteriorating humanitarian situation they face.

As usual, the Security Council expressed its concern about the reported atrocities committed by the RSF against civilians and called on all parties to the conflict to immediately adhere to a ceasefire. This same Council, which has been absent throughout the war, even refraining from condemnation and criticism, because the major or influential powers within it are the ones fueling the conflict in Sudan.

O People of Sudan: How long will the conflict in Sudan and elsewhere continue to serve as fuel for international ambitions and their conflict, with their malicious plans, interventions, and the arming of warring factions to achieve complete control over them? Your women and children have been suffering for over two years from this bloody conflict, which serves only the interests of the West and its allies in controlling the fate of Sudan, a country they have long coveted for its strategic location and resources. It is in their interest to tear it apart and fragment it. The RSF takeover of El Fasher is but another link in these chains of events, through which America seeks to carve out the Darfur region, consolidate its influence in Sudan, and eliminate British influence there.

The solution is not in a democratic government nor in a military government, but rather in getting rid of the influence of the kafir colonial West in all its forms and manifestations and its followers. The solution is in bringing Islam to power, under the second Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood.

“If Allah helps you, none can defeat you. But if He denies you help, then who else can help you? So in Allah let the believers put their trust” [TMQ Aal-i-Imran: 160]
