The Illusion of Strategic Alliances: India and the UAE Versus Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey
(Translated)

News:

The United Arab Emirates and India signed a letter of intent for a strategic partnership in the defense sector between the two countries during a visit by the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to the Indian capital, New Delhi. India’s foreign minister said that signing the letter of intent with the UAE does not necessarily mean India’s involvement in regional conflicts. The announcement of the letter of intent between the two countries comes in the wake of Islamabad’s announcement that it is preparing a draft trilateral defense agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey. In addition to the defense sector, Abu Dhabi and New Delhi also signed a $3 billion deal under which New Delhi will purchase liquefied natural gas from the UAE for a period of 10 years. The two sides agreed to double the volume of trade to reach $200 billion by 2032. (aljazeera.net).

Comment:

The assumption that the strategic alliance between India and the UAE is countering the strategic alliance between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey is entirely false. This is because these states do not have the authority to determine their own foreign policies, whether regional or international. Instead, they each follow their respective Western master who controls them and their policies. The Western master is the one who sets the dictates for them to follow, and imposes upon them the serving of its interests, not the interests of their own country, unless there is no conflict between the interests of this particular country and the interests of its master. Such countries are incapable of entering into strategic partnerships that run counter to their master’s interests, except under its direction, and with the permission of the colonialist power that dominates them. If an agreement is indeed concluded between such countries, it has no real value beyond the limits permitted by their master.

For example, the Arab League, the Conference of Islamic Cooperation, and the Gulf Cooperation Council are all alliances and unions whose resolutions are not worth the ink with which they are written. The Gulf alliance, which includes Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar, did not benefit them during the period of escalation among this triad, to the point that a rupture occurred between Qatar and Saudi Arabia that lasted for years, and nearly reached the brink of war between them. Nor did the GCC prevent the outbreak of confrontation between the UAE and Saudi Arabia on the Yemeni battlefield. The alliances of these non-independent states, subservient or loyal to the Western master, have no value on the ground except insofar as they only serve the interests of the Western colonialist master.

As for the so-called “strategic” alliance between the UAE and India, in addition to being an alliance between non-independent states whose decisions, policies, and regional and international strategies are not subject to their own will, and do not fundamentally serve their own interests, there is a conflict between the Western masters of each side. Modi and his party are loyal, to the point of outright subservience, to the United States, while the UAE is an English protectorate and colony. The two colonialist powers, Britain and the US, do not converge in their strategic interests in a manner that would allow their respective agents to conclude genuine strategic agreements. This is especially the case if such an alliance affects, harms, or is intended to counter another alliance or bloc aligned with another one of them.

Consider the alliance of Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia, which is an alliance of American agents. Its clear purpose is to confront the challenges facing the US in the region. In particular, it is meant to confront Britain’s long-entrenched colonialist presence in the region. Accordingly, it is inconceivable that the “strategic” alliance between India and the UAE could be genuine or serious. Nor is it conceivable that a mutual defense agreement would actually be activated, if either country was exposed to danger or threat from a third country or another alliance.

The cooperation between India and the UAE goes no further than economic cooperation and the export of oil and gas. It may also include cyber-espionage cooperation, or an alliance aimed at confronting Islam and suppressing Muslims. These are common denominators between the two countries and their respective masters. Their masters, the US and Britain, have no objection to agreements of this kind. Thus, the “alliance” is confined to economic aspects and hostility toward Islam and its suppression. This stands in contrast to the alliance between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey. It is a genuinely “strategic” alliance. This is because its members are all agents of the American master. In other words, the alliance exists under the sponsorship, arrangement, and permission of their Western master. It is real in the sense that it serves to advance American interests in the region, such as confronting British agents in the region, and eliminating their influence in Yemen, Sudan, the UAE itself, and Jordan, if they are able to do so.

The Ruwaybidah (lowly incompetent rulers) in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and others, do not represent their Ummah. They are nothing more than chess pieces on the White House boardgame. They are used as pawns. Through them, the resources of Muslim lands are drained to serve American interests. They are used to plunder Muslim lands, repress Muslims, and suffocate them so that the Ummah may never rise. Accordingly, it has become clear that rulers of Muslim are the only filthy tools used by the Kafir (disbelieving) colonialists in Muslim lands to carry out dirty work for the benefit of their masters, at the expense of the welfare of the best Ummah brought forth for humankind. Thus, it has become self-evident that these regimes and rulers are, as stated in the Noble Quran, ﴿هُمُ الْعَدُوُّ فَاحْذَرْهُمْ قَاتَلَهُمُ اللَّهُ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ“They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?” [TMQ Surah Al-Munafiqoon:4].

It is a Shariah obligation upon all sincere people of the Ummah, especially those possessing military strength and power, to overthrow these regimes and to support Hizb ut Tahrir in establishing the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood on their ruins. Other than through engaging in this great and noble work, the Ummah will not be able to stand on its own feet. These Ruwaybidah will continue to wreak havoc in Muslim lands. They will spread disbelief and immorality within the lands. They will spread poverty and fear. They are among those of whom the Queen of Sheba said, as mentioned in the Noble Quran,

“Truly, kings, when they enter a town, lay it waste and make the most honorable of its people abject; and thus, do they behave.” [TMQ Surah An-Naml: 34].
