President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan participated in the C5+1 Summit of leaders of Central Asian countries and the United States, held at the White House in Washington, the official presidential residence of the President of the United States. (Uzbek Presidency, 06/11/2025)

The presidents of the five Central Asian states participated in an event chaired by US President Donald Trump. Notably, the US president hosted the Central Asian leaders at the White House for the first time in the C5+1 format. This gathering was held to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the format’s inception. Prior to the summit, the US Senate unanimously adopted a resolution recognizing the strategic importance of the C5+1 diplomatic platform and deepening the partnership between the United States and the Central Asian states. The US Senate resolution stated the following:

- Reaffirms the strategic importance of the C5+1 platform in promoting regional sovereignty, stability, and shared security interests with the United States;

- Expresses appreciation for the expansion of cooperation in the energy and critical minerals sectors through the development of transport corridors;

- Notes the Central Asian states' continued commitment to coordinating their counterterrorism efforts within the C5+1 framework;

- Expresses hope for the reduction of strategic trade barriers and the strengthening of prosperity and friendship between the two sides.

This document outlines the main directions for the United States in attracting Central Asian countries into its orbit, and this was also reflected in the C5+1 summit.

The discussions included the search for rare earth minerals needed for high-tech devices such as smartphones, electric cars, and fighter jets, and the importance of diversifying the supply chain. According to the Uzbek presidential press service, Uzbekistan signed two agreements with the United States on November 6 concerning rare earth minerals. No information has yet been released regarding the terms or value of these agreements. According to official information, Uzbekistan and the United States are working on developing the extraction and reprocessing of uranium, copper, tungsten, molybdenum, and graphite. It is known that Mirziyoyev returned from the United States with eight significant agreements. For example, a new multi-billion dollar agreement was signed for the purchase of Boeing aircraft. The terms of this agreement are not yet fully known. According to the White House, on November 6, Kazakhstan signed an agreement to purchase 15 aircraft, Tajikistan 14, and Uzbekistan 8, bringing the total number of Boeing aircraft purchased by the three countries to 37. In short, this summit was filled with dubious agreements and deals that primarily serve American interests.

It is also worth noting that the document submitted by the US Senate did not address issues of democratic values ​​and human rights. This means that America has abandoned the intellectual values ​​it once championed and promoted in favor of its national interests. But this is not surprising; during the events in Gaza, America itself buried Western values, such as freedom of expression and human rights. This once again demonstrated the hypocrisy of capitalist democracy, which recognizes nothing but self-interest.

Another important, yet deeply disturbing, announcement was made at the summit. On November 6, Trump announced Kazakhstan’s accession to the Abraham Accords. According to Trump's statement, this announcement followed a phone call with the Zionist Prime Minister Netanyahu and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Sadly, previous discussions about Kazakhstan joining the agreement have now become a reality. Now it is Azerbaijan’s and Uzbekistan’s turn. This demonstrates that the blood of Muslims in Palestine means nothing to the regimes in the Muslim World.

Thus, the following important questions arise: What will happen if America succeeds in implementing its plans regarding Central Asia, particularly Uzbekistan? In this case, it will achieve its desired interests: it will enhance its national and energy security, reduce its dependence on China for essential minerals, gain a powerful and loyal ally close to Russia, and be able to place various obstacles in the way of China’s Belt and Road Initiative, restricting its movements on the international stage. Yes, America achieves such enormous interests. Now, what will Central Asia and Uzbekistan gain from rapprochement with America? Certainly, there is absolutely no benefit for the Muslim population of the region. What will change in this scenario is that dependence on Russia and China will decrease somewhat, and America will primarily fill the resulting vacuum. However, they will not be able to transcend their current status as underdeveloped and weak, agent states that provide a base of cheap raw materials and cheap labor. The plundering of our resources will not stop, the energy supply will deteriorate further, and our economy will continue to collapse... Likewise, the risk of sacrificing 80 million people in our region without hesitation in the ongoing struggle for benefits between those colonialist powers will remain.

Therefore, there is no benefit or advantage for Muslims in seeking closeness to America, the head of disbelief (kufr), or to any other country. The only straight path to salvation is to turn to our great Islam, Allah’s greatest blessing, and submit to it. This will be achieved by abandoning the corrupt capitalist system currently imposed upon us, which is the foundation of colonialism, and establishing the Khilafah (Caliphate), which will implement Islam in its entirety. This, Allah willing, will surely come to pass.
