Three Years of the Al-Aqsa Flood: The Ongoing Betrayal of Gaza and the Caliphate as the Only Solution

October of this year (2026) marks the third anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, an operation that exposed the fragility of the illegal Jewish entity and shattered the myth of Jewish invincibility. For three years, the world has witnessed the boundless cruelty of a nation cursed by Allah (swt), which claims to be God's chosen and superior people.

During these three years, the citizens of Gaza have stood firm upon heaps of rubble, presenting extraordinary faith, piety, resilience, and patience to Allah (swt). For three years, the blood of martyrs has flowed ceaselessly across the Blessed Land of Palestine, turning the said land of the Prophets into the largest graveyard of martyrs who will rise as just witnesses before Allah (swt) in the Hereafter.

However, despite the extraordinary courage of the Mujahideen and the Palestinian people, the most bitter reality that the entire Muslim Ummah is forced to swallow is not the immense cruelty of the Jews La’natullah Alaihim, but the continuous betrayal by their own rulers.

For three years, Gaza has been slaughtered without a shred of humanity, bombed incessantly day and night, and its inhabitants expelled from their own homeland. Yet, all that the more than 50 Muslim rulers from the Arab and Muslim world have done is remain silent. They have merely acted as bystanders and tally clerks of the casualties, and worse, some have become accomplices to 'Israel' in the most brutal genocide in human history.

For three years – and indeed, for over 70 years – if any of these rulers have spoken out, it has been nothing more than empty condemnations and cheap rhetoric meant to silence their citizens from criticizing them. Occasionally, their voices appear harsh and their speeches fiery, as they compete to win the award for best hero on the world's theatrical stage.

For three years – and indeed, for over 70 years – we have witnessed summit after summit, whether by the United Nations (UN), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the Arab League, or various other emergency meetings held across multiple platforms, all entirely devoid of action. In fact, that has always been their true objective: to issue resolutions without execution.

The Pinnacle of Betrayal

For three years – and indeed for over 70 years – the Ruwaibidhah (incompetent and corrupt) rulers have continued to imprison their armies in barracks, ground their fighter jets, and chain the sophisticated weaponry purchased with the wealth of the Ummah. They actively prevent the military forces of the Ummah from fulfilling their sacred and divinely mandated obligation, which is Jihad Fi Sabilillah (war in the cause of Allah).

Consider the death and destruction that has befallen Gaza; yet, to this day, not a single bullet has been fired by these rulers at the Jewish entity, save for the 'cordial' projectiles sent by Iran – and even those were a fleeting and feeble retaliation after its own territories were repeatedly struck and its leaders systematically assassinated by the Jewish entity.

Truly, there is no betrayal greater than that committed by the current Ruwaibidhah rulers against the Blessed Land of Palestine. They allow the Land of Isra' and Mi'raj to remain subjugated by the Jews, permitting their brethren to be slaughtered at will by an accursed people, without offering the slightest defense, issuing only the empty condemnations whispered to them by devils.

The Arab rulers fiercely defend the artificial Sykes-Picot borders created by the infidel colonizers, while other Muslim rulers do the same, defending their respective colonial-drawn national borders more fiercely than they defend their own lives. They are willing to sacrifice the lives of their brethren as long as their national borders remain secure. What betrayal could be greater than this?

Meanwhile, the armies of the Muslims, who possess the power to absolve themselves of these rulers, continue to choose blind obedience to these Ruwaibidhah rulers. This is the root cause of their humiliation in this world and their torment in the Hereafter, as they have abandoned Jihad Fi Sabilillah – let alone at a time when the Muslim Ummah is in desperate need of them.

Concurrently, Muslims continue to be deceived by what is termed an 'international solution'. Segments of the Muslim population, and even Islamic movements themselves, still rely on the United Nations (UN), the Security Council, or the International Criminal Court (ICC). In reality, these are blinding illusions of a solution, which have consistently proven incapable of resolving the Palestinian issue.

These institutions are, fundamentally, instruments of hegemony for the United States of America and its Western allies – the very same powers that supply the weapons, funding, and veto protection enabling the Jewish entity to continue its slaughter of Muslims in Gaza. The Muslim Ummah must realize that expecting justice or a solution from the West, their institutions, and their contrived international laws is akin to entrusting the fate of a flock of sheep to a starving wolf.

The Only Remaining Solution

We have long witnessed, since the onset of the Palestinian crisis over 70 years ago, that various forms of humanitarian aid have been dispatched, numerous conferences held, countless resolutions passed, diverse statements and condemnations issued, massive global demonstrations staged, countless prayers and supplications offered, various campaigns and boycotts mobilized, and billions in funds collected; yet, the Palestinian issue remains conspicuously unresolved. Why?

The answer lies in the fact that all these purported solutions focus solely on the victim, while the predator is left unchecked. The only solution that has yet to be undertaken is the eradication of the predator – the accursed Jews – and the sole method for achieving this is through Jihad Fi Sabilillah. Unfortunately, this solution has never been pursued, and there are no indications that it will be adopted by today's treacherous rulers.

On this premise, the sole remaining hope and solution is the establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate). This is the mission being pursued by Hizb ut Tahrir worldwide: striving to restore the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood. It is a supreme Islamic political institution that will unite all Muslim lands, dismantle the false borders of nationalism, and mobilize the Muslim armies from Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, and others under a single banner – the banner of "La Ilaha Illallah Muhammad Rasulullah". This force will teach the insolence of the Jews, concurrently liberating the Blessed Land of Palestine and restoring it to the hands of the Muslim Ummah as its rightful owners. The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ "Verily, the Imam (Caliph) is a shield, behind whom you fight and by whom you are protected” [Sahih Muslim].

Today, Muslims are being slaughtered in Gaza, and indeed across the globe, because this shield was lost with the collapse of the Caliphate in Istanbul in 1924. Without this shield, Muslim blood is easily spilled. Without this shield, the Muslim Ummah lives without a defender. Without this shield, the Muslims are akin to chicks that have lost their mother. Without this shield, it has been proven exceedingly easy for enemies to attack the Muslim Ummah from all directions and through various means.

Verily, the Jews are a nation that recognizes no language in this world other than the language of war. This is the only language understood by colonizers and usurpers of others' lands. Regrettably, this language has never been taught to the Jews by the treacherous rulers. Yet, Insha Allah, this is the very language that the Caliphate will teach the Jews when it is established soon.

We are well aware that re-establishing the Caliphate is no simple task; it demands the concerted effort of every Muslim worldwide. It is upon this foundation that Hizb ut Tahrir continuously calls upon the Muslim Ummah – tirelessly, relentlessly, and without despair – to join its ranks in fulfilling this obligation, thereby bringing the ultimate nightmare of the Jews and their allies to fruition.

Hizb ut Tahrir also persistently calls upon the Ahlul Quwwah wal Man’ah (the people of power and protection) to provide Nussrah (material support and military backing) to re-establish the Caliphate. It is through this alone that Gaza, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and indeed the entirety of the Blessed Land of Palestine will be liberated. By the will of Allah, this Nussrah will arrive imminently.

Conclusion

Indeed, the re-establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood for a second time has already been promised by Allah (swt) through the tongue of His Messenger (saw), and this promise will inevitably come to pass by His permission. At that time, the enemies of Allah (swt) from among the Jews will be struck by a true Flood that will wipe them from the face of the earth, until the world is once again secure from these corrupters, restored to justice through the comprehensive (Kaffah) implementation of Allah's Laws, and illuminated once more by His ceaseless Light and Mercy, Insha Allah.
