The ‘Gaza Humanitarian Foundation’: A Means to an End

Over the past few months, we have been inundated with reports of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) and the deaths of the aid seekers in Gaza. The organization which is backed by the US and the Jewish entity has been condemned by the UN and over 170 humanitarian charities and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), all of whom have refused to work with them. Their reasoning is that the GHF is politicizing and militarising aid.

But why does the GHF exist? And how does it have the backing of both the USA and the Jewish entity? A question which is particularly loaded when you consider the fact that the government of the Jewish entity has been open about their desire to either force the Palestinians out of Gaza or kill them all.

The GHF was founded in early 2025, as an American nonprofit, in an apparent response to claims that Hamas was diverting humanitarian aid within Gaza, a claim that the USA and the Jewish entity have yet to provide credible proof for. The stated aim was to restore and control humanitarian aid distribution through what it describes as an independent, rigorously monitored model to ensure aid reaches Palestinians directly without diversion to Hamas.

But the method to supply the aid is nothing short of disgusting. With them forcing Gazans into limited "safe" areas under heavy security, areas that remain closed to the public but for a short period of time, opening with limited prior notice and for times that can be as short as 8 minutes. Aid isn’t properly distributed and the guards are prone to shoot at people, and throw tear gas, killing and injuring hundreds in the process.

A former US Army Special Forces lieutenant colonel, Anthony Bailey Aguilar, worked as a security contractor for UG Solutions at GHF sites and reported that private contractors used live ammunition, stun grenades, and pepper spray on Palestinian civilians at aid distribution points. These security personnel entered “Israel” on B2 tourist visas, meaning they were ostensibly "just tourists with guns," underlining the covert military or intelligence nature of their presence.

Overall, since the start of the GHF's operations, over 1,800 Palestinians—including many children—have been killed near aid distribution points due to “Israeli” fire and related violence. These incidents have sparked accusations of "death traps" at aid sites by humanitarian organizations.

The GHF clearly does not have the Gazans best interests, or any interests really, in mind. This isn’t much of a surprise, if you consider the fact that the Jewish entity and the USA are backing the GHF, and both countries have plans for Gaza, plans that do not include the Palestinians. The Jewish entity has been clear in its mission to demolish Gaza's civilian infrastructure and concentrate the population into a small "humanitarian area," with the intent of making much of Gaza uninhabitable if no deal with Hamas is reached by mid-May 2025, and the security cabinet of the Jewish entity recently approved a plan to take military control of Gaza City in the northern Gaza Strip. The plan includes forcibly evacuating civilians from Gaza City, which alongside the ongoing blockade and destruction, is pushing hundreds of thousands out of the area.

This would explain why the GHF only distributes aid through a small number of secured hubs located primarily in central and southern Gaza. A geographic focus appears intended to draw Palestinians southward near the Egyptian border and away from northern Gaza, aligning with military and political strategies of the Jewish entity to depopulate northern Gaza.

This plan has been openly supported by the USA. They not only provide direct funding to the GHF—$30 million recently- their companies are also being subcontracted to operate the GHF’s aid system: Safe Reach Solutions (SRS) and UG Solutions, which are private security and logistics firms coordinating with the military of the Jewish entity on the ground. They provide security and run the aid distribution sites in Gaza, controlled heavily by forces of the Jewish entity. Significantly, Safe Reach Solutions is led by an ex-CIA paramilitary officer, Philip Francis Reilly, and UG solutions is staffed by former US Special Forces operatives. It is a fact that makes you understand that the organisations motives are not as simple as just providing aid to a desperate people.

This is just another example of how the USA and the Jewish entity are being allowed to carry out their plans to take control of Gaza. Condemnations are meaningless when rulers are willing following their lead when it comes to ‘aiding’ the Palestinians, especially when they sign deals with the Jewish entity to provide them with the resources and revenue that they need to kill the Palestinians. How can normalisation and ‘peace’ be the answer to such open, cold-blooded murder?

If you understand the obligation to see the Muslims as one Ummah, then the situation that is currently faced by the Palestinians must affect us. And if it affects us, how can we see this anything other than an open war on our Muslim brothers and sisters? And if we believe that this is an open war, then how can we not respond to it? How can we not demand that our armies move to protect the people in Gaza? A people whose blood is being spilt on the land of Masjid Ul Aqsa?

The USA, and the Jewish entity are working together to occupy the land of Gaza and remove the Palestinians who currently live there. The GHF is but one tool in their arsenal. These countries are not our allies; they are our enemy. And to see them as anything other than an enemy is a betrayal of the Muslims in Palestine, and a betrayal of Allah and His Messenger. Who clearly said that:

“Abdullah ibn Umar reported:

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَطُوفُ بِالْكَعْبَةِ وَيَقُولُ:

«مَا أَطْيَبَكِ وَأَطْيَبَ رِيحَكِ مَا أَعْظَمَكِ وَأَعْظَمَ حُرْمَتَكِ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَحُرْمَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ أَعْظَمُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ حُرْمَةً مِنْكِ مَالِهِ وَدَمِهِ وَأَنْ نَظُنَّ بِهِ إِلَّا خَيْرًا»

I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, circling around the Ka’bah and saying, “How pure you are and how pure is your fragrance! How great you are and how great is your sanctity! By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the sanctity of the believer is greater to Allah than your sanctity, in his wealth, his life, and to assume nothing of him but good.” (Source: Sunan Ibn Mājah 3932)
