Press Release

NO: PR10069

Thursday 3rd Muharram 1432 AH / 09/12/10

Privatization of the educational institutions, class based education system and secular syllabus - The colonial method to produce a slavish mentality!!!

The solution to the problems of the education system lies only in the Islamic education policy implemented by the Khilafah state

Protests by students and teachers against the Punjab government's decision to privatize the educational institutions by granting sovereignty and increasing fees continues. In response, the Punjab government has resorted to baton charges, tear gas, arrests and other tactics.

However, the deep enlightened view clearly manifests that the Pakistan educational system is decayed and rotten and a direct result of the enslaving colonial policies. A few reforms are not going to change its basic structure except prolonging the life of this slave generating educational system. The foundation of this educational system is built on the secular basis aimed at producing cheap labour for the West and secular personalities who act as cheap intellectual agents to assist the West in subjugating us.

It will be the Khilafah that will bring an end to all the English and Urdu medium schools and establish Arabic medium schools throughout the Ummah. Neither foreign, missionary schools will be allowed in the Khilafah state nor any other board of education or syllabus except the official one. Different Schools for different classes of the society will not be allowed such as schools for the overseas citizens, military schools, schools for the rich and schools for orphans etc. Primary and secondary level education will not only be free rather it would be compulsory as well. While endeavors will be made to provide free higher education for as many students as possible. Co-education will not be allowed in the Khilafah state, neither amongst the students nor teachers, except in extra ordinary cases.

But above all, the education system in the Khilafah produces such Islamic personalities that are unique and distinctive in their thoughts, and for whom the aim of the life is to worship and seek the pleasure of Allah and to make Islam the dominate ideology all over the world. The Islamic educational policy does not produce individuals whose whole life revolves around their stomachs, nor does it teach them how to hunt the prey like a vulture or a fox. Instead, the Islamic education system first helps the student to figure out his ultimate purpose in life besides teaching him all the subjects necessary for material progress.

Students and teachers should shun the struggle for some meaningless reforms and calling for rights in the current corrupt education system. Rather they must rise to eradicate the whole rotten education system that is corrupting the lives of the students. Practically this can only be done by joining the global struggle of Hizb ut-Tahrir for the re-establishment of the Khilafah, which has entered into its final stage. Thus, through the Islamic educational policy the Khilafah will once again produce Jabir Bin Hayan, Al-Khwarzami, Imam Shafi, Imam Abu-Hanifa, Imam Ghazali, Al-Kindi and Ibn-Qudama.

O respectable teachers and students! Reestablishing the Khilafah is your duty, so rise and make this change possible.

Arabic is the official language of the Islamic State, as the Prophet (saaw) used it in government affairs and the Khulafah followed suit. The Muslims should not heed to the rumors from the West and their sympathizers amongst the Muslims who claim that calling for the study of Arabic and adopting it as the official language of the state means calling for Arab nationalism or an "Arab Islam". All Muslims, Arab and non Arab should leave aside national affiliations and patriotic affinity and identify themselves with Islam. Let us not forget that the West attacks the Arabic language and its study as a part of its campaign against Islam. That's why they do not direct their attacks against Turkish, Somali, Urdu, Bengali, Pushto, Malay, Chinese, or Farsi even though millions of Muslims speak those languages. All Muslims are called upon to defend Arabic in the manner they defend Islam.

Although I completely agree that the Islamic system is truly perfect for all things and will even change the corrupt education systems of today, I still don't believe in "Arabic nationalism" Neither Allah Most High nor the teachings of His servant, our Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, commanded for Arabic to be compulsory amongst all people except that it is required for one to do his 5 daily prayers in Arabic. Allah SWT has created man into all sorts of nations, tribes, and people with various languages. Hence Urdu curriculum in schools should not be a problem since that is the language of the people of Pakistan. Establishing a Khilafah is for the political, economic, and spiritual unity of the Muslims, not for the sake of Arab nationalism but for Allah and His Messenger. Much of our knowledge in science is standardized in English and it would take a whole new level to change all the terms and concepts into Arabic creating massive confusion amongst those who already know it in that way. Khilafah does not mean imposing Arabic language on the people but a guidance to the right way of Islam.

When i think of scholars like ibn Kathir, Ibn Qayyum, Ibn Sina, and the like of this great minds it sinks my heart deeply to realise that in this generation of ours, it has become very hard if not impossible to reach such a rank as they have. The young generation of now a days are so occupied with the daily bread and success that the true meaning of knowledge has seized to exists. People no longer learn to teach one another but annihilate each other. We have remained to admire great minds of the past while we in the present have nothing. We remain empty vessels, that keeps howling the wind that blows over it. From child hood our mind have been indoctrinated to the way of kufar, what is wrong is made seemingly fair, and what is fair has been totally wiped out of our lives. We grow up to be teached of evolution and adaptation, when revolution and sacrificed made our heroes are white washed in history. Surely it the promise of Allah is true, for the end days will not come until there is so much ignorance in the society, and the vanishing of knowledge from the society.
