بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِيَ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَى وَالْفُرْقَانِ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ يُرِيدُ اللّهُ بِكُمُ الْيُسْرَ وَلاَ يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ الْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُواْ الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُواْ اللّهَ عَلَى مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
"The Month of Ramadhan, in which the Qur'an was revealed, is guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong). So whoever of you sights (the crescent on the first night of) the month (of Ramadhan), he must fast that month, and whoever is ill or on in a state of travelling, then the missed days must be made up from other days. Allah intends for you ease and not difficulty. (He wants that you) complete the number of days and glorify Him for having guided you, and that you may be thankful to Him." [Al-Baqarah: 185]
Alhamdulillah and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم, and peace be upon his family, his companions, those who gave their loyalty to him, and those who followed him, tracing his steps and establishing the Islamic ‘Aqeeda as the foundation for their thought, and the Ahkam Al-Shar'iyyah as the measure for judgment in their actions and the source of their laws.
It was narrated by Al-Bukhari in his Sahih on the authority of Muhammed Bin Ziyad, who said, "I heard Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, say: ‘The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said', or he said, ‘Abu Al-Qasim صلى الله عليه وسلم said: Fast when you see it, and break your fast when you see it, and if you cannot see it then complete 30 days of Sha'ban.'"
And after seeking the Hilal of the blessed month of Ramadhan on this Thursday evening (the night of Friday), a legal (Shar'ee) sighting of the moon has NOT been confirmed, and therefore Friday will be the completion of 30 days of Sha'ban inshaAllah. Saturday will be the first day of the blessed month of Ramadhan.
On this occasion, the Ameer of Hizb ut-Tahrir , the Alim ‘Ataa Bin Khaleel Abu Al-Rashta, may Allah protect him, greets the Islamic Ummah on the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan and asks Allah سبحانه وتعالى to honour this Ummah, to grant her a great victory, so that Islam is implemented as the Lord of the world سبحانه وتعالى ordered, and carried to the world by Da'wa and Jihad to take all of mankind from the darkness of kufr to the light of Islam.
And the Ameer - may Allah strengthen his foothold - prays to Allah سبحانه وتعالى that the Khaleefah himself will announce next year's Ramadhan, by the permission of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, and on that day the believers will rejoice at the victory from Allah سبحانه وتعالى.
وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةً وَنَجْعَلَهُمُ الْوَارِثِينَ
"And We wished to be gracious to those who were being depressed on the land, to make them leaders (in faith) and make them heirs." [Al-Qasas, 28:5]
The head of the Media Office of Hizb ut-Tahrir, as well as all those working within it, send their congratulations and warm wishes on this blessed month to the respected Ameer of Hizb ut-Tahrir and all Muslims, asking Allah سبحانه وتعالى to allow us to benefit from this month of forgiveness and goodness and to witness Laylatul Qadr and to honour us with its reward.
O Allah, Lord of the heavens and earth! Allow us to give the bay'ah (pledge of allegiance) to the Khaleefah of the Muslims in the second Khilafah Rashida. Aameen, O Allah, Aameen!
And in closing our broadcast today, we would like to announce that we will be broadcasting daily for the duration of the blessed month of Ramadhan. AA... When I asked the question about what we can do about this problem here in Ireland, I am seriously hoping that Khilafah.com would provide some direction and answers... I always pray that we get the Hizb to start working in the Republic of Ireland so that Muslims here could benefit from the Party's ideas and concepts... This European Council of Fitnah and "Research" has caused enough problem here... |

AA... Ramadhan Kareem to all Muslims!!! We have such a mess here in Ireland because of the European Council of Fatwaa (Fitnah)... They have left the shariah rule of sighting the moon and declared the start of new month based on calculations... This is why they always announce Ramadhan at a different date from the rest of the world... This is the third year in a row that they have done this... What can we as concerned Muslims do about this? |
