Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Jordan, mourns to the Ummah one of its righteous Shabab, the patient, the truthful Brother: Mohammed Hassan Shatnawi (Abu Mu’adh)
Whose soul submitted to its Creator on Sunday morning, 14/12/2014, at the age of 74 years in which he spent in obedience to Allah and His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم; a carrier of the Da’wah and a trusted guardian on Islam.
مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَضَى نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَنْتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلًا
“Among the believers there are men who have been true to the contract they made with Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their pact by death and some are still waiting to do so, not having changed in any way at all.”
(Al-Ahzab, 33:23)

May Allah have mercy on Abu Mu’adh; he was affable, warm and a devotee of the Da’wah and its Shabab, working rightfully and was steadfast on the right and optimistic of the promise of Allah Almighty. ‘O Allah, have mercy upon your servant Abu Mu’adh and make honorable his reception. Expand his entry and exchange his home for a better abode, and his family for a better family, and gather us and him under the banner of the Prophet on the Day of Resurrection.
إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ
“Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.”
(Al Baqara: 156)
